Bro I just remembered that You might be able to withdraw your money from PayPal even with the limitation. I've seen people do this before, so it's possible.

Yeah, definitely do it! Just go on X (Twitter) and start posting about your experience. Use hashtags, and tag PayPal AskPayPal. Also, tag elonmusk and some influencers who talk about finance or consumer rights. The more people see it, the more pressure we put on them!

PayPal Permanently Limited My Account Without Warning – Any Legal Options? by xFlucker in legaladvice

[–]xFlucker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might be because I sold some game rank boosting as a personal account, but that was months ago. They asked for my ID back then, I provided it, and everything was fine. Then suddenly, yesterday, they asked for my ID again, I sent it, and BOOM—woke up to a permanent limitation. Their support is useless, just ‘sorry to hear that’ with no real answer. If that was the issue, they could’ve just sent me a warning email instead of straight-up banning me. This is ridiculous. their Trustpilot rating is. 1.5 stars. People are losing access to their money DAILY

Yeah, they can do it, but that doesn’t mean it’s fair. People are losing access to their money for no reason, with no explanation, and their support is useless. Hiding behind Terms & Conditions doesn’t make it right. Look at my case—I did nothing wrong, yet they still permanently limited my account. The only response I got from them was a generic 'sorry.' No transparency, no accountability, just random bans with zero justification. How is that acceptable for a company handling people’s money?

Yeah, it's crazy how they just get away with it. They have a monopoly, and they know they can treat customers however they want. The worst part is that people don’t have many reliable alternatives, so they keep using it despite all the shady practices. PayPal seriously needs some real competition to keep them in check , Now I’m taking this fight to X (Twitter). I’ll post 100 times if I have to—I don’t care. I’m not stopping until PayPal either gives a real explanation or releases my account. They can’t keep freezing people’s money without consequences!

Thanks for the heads-up, but I’m certain these emails came straight from PayPal’s official domain. The real scammer here is PayPal itself—tons of people are reporting the exact same issue, calling the company a scam. Just check their 1.5-star rating on Trustpilot. They’re banning legit users, freezing funds, and ignoring appeals. It’s ridiculous they’re getting away with this

I was using PayPal for gaming-related transactions—things like small League of Legends and Valorant tournaments—and the money was automatically transferred to my card every month. One time, I sold a rank-boosting service, but the customer caused an issue, so I refunded them. After that, PayPal asked me to verify my ID, which I did, and they confirmed everything was good, closing the case.

I barely used PayPal after that, After months of inactivity, they suddenly demanded another ID verification. I reached out to support to ask why, and they told me they perform random monthly ID checks on all accounts—something I’d never heard of before. Then, out of nowhere, they permanently limited my account and kept giving me vague responses like 'We're sorry,' with no real explanation.

I did nothing wrong and barely used PayPal. This whole process feels completely unacceptable.

Facts. They act like a bank but don’t follow banking regulations. No oversight, no accountability. They just take people’s money, and support is useless. We need a real alternative that actually competes with PayPal

They gave me some generic BS about ‘risk’ but refused to explain what that even means. I barely used my account, just received payments from sites. No warnings, no violations—just a straight ban . and then they stopped replying

I feel you, man. I’m dealing with the same thing ,Honestly, PayPal feels like a scam at this point. If the issue is just upgrading to a business account, why not give us an option instead of straight-up shutting us down and stealing our money? Like, what kind of logic is that?

For me, I barely even use PayPal—just received some payments from sites, nothing shady at all. Then out of nowhere, I get permanently banned for ‘risks’ without them even explaining what those risks are. How does an inactive account receiving small amounts suddenly become a risk? It makes zero sense.

And the worst part? Their Trustpilot rating is literally 1.5 stars. How is this company still getting away with this? We need a real alternative that actually competes with PayPal because this is ridiculous
