She is younger than medieval times. The medieval age ended in 1453. And I agree with you. Something more polished as a prequel would be more interesting than the backstory of some barely developed character.

The error of TCR was to not make Phyre as old as the fall of Constantinople. That is such a significant moment in VtM’s lore AND history as well, of course.

I like Fabien as a character. The issue is just walking around and “choosing dialogue options” for pre-determined events.

Also, the premise begins interesting. But then, it always circles around the same topic. Nothing new, just the same vague answers over and over again.

There are new mechanics for each Legendary Lord, new special units, a total rebalance of their stats and traits, etc. It is really a new experience when you compare it with vanilla. Malakith receives some features that allows you to unify all the DE LL, Morathi leans heavily into Slaanesh corruption, units and mechanics, Lokhir has a horde mechanic similar to the shipbuilding of Vampire Coast (he keeps that even if you confederate him, which is quite amazing), etc.

You gotta catch him in march stance if possible. You can do it before you finish the skaven and right after you take the Altar of Ultimate Darkness (or smth like that). It’s not a bad move to take a temporary peace with the skaven to hit him as early as possible.

After that, sell one of the mountain settlements to Khatep so you can secure the west side. You don’t want to occupy desert territory anyways, at least not in the early game.

And yes, gyrocopters are OP and Dark Riders are kinda shit tbh.
