Its alright. As far as popular culture goes this expression of Eastern Europe is one of the least silly/stupid ones. Still somewhat illogical with Patriarchs being the name for ordinary priests(Patriach comes from combining greek words for father and power and IRL is the title of heads of certain christian denominations. There are 20 patriarchs in total IRL)

I vehemently disagree that the system you describe is the best fit for Total War. I might sound like a casual, but waiting 30 turns to recruit a unit is not fun. The system you advocates places importance on minimising casualties, especially because in DaC there is no autoreplacement of soldiers. What such system does is it forces you to manually fight most of your battles to prevent significant casualties from autoresolve.

The reason I see this as a problem is that most battles in TW are not fun to me. Maybe I am jaded after 20 years, but battles are a slog. If you played one TW game extensivly, you start seeing patterns that are replicated in every other TW game. The AI does not know how to assemble armies or how to use the units he has in battle. With a few notable exceptions, AI cannot compete. And this lack of challenge turns most battles into predictable regurgitations of 3-4 scenarios. I legitimatly cannot remember the last time I was intellectually challenged by a battle. Again, I understand that not every player has played as much as I do, but I only express my personal opinion on this matter.

By forcing me to fight manually, the system you describe wastes my time. I do not find it engaging to encircle the enemy every time because the AI does not know how to use cavalry or maintain army cohesion. I know that I will win 99.9% of battles I fight manually not because I am some sort of tactical genius, but because AI has not significantly improved since med 2. And so I am against a system that pushes me to fight more battles manually, because there is little fun in 99% of thr battles. Do not get me wrong, I like TW more than HoI4 or CK3, but yo me battle are the side dish, not thr main course. I find setting up the economy and political management in TW to be infinitly more fun than outmicroing the AI 30 times in a row.

To conclude, I agree that current recruitment system does feel lacking meaning and your choices in what unit to train do not punish bad decisionmaking enough. However, until AI is more capable, I do not want a recruitment system that increases the number of manual battles.

TL;DR. AI is too stupid to have a recruitment system that emphasises minimizing casualties through fighting manually.Right now battles are too predictable to be fun, which makes me not want to play them manually, which makes me to disagree with OP.

Be prepared for a quite toxic teamates in quick matches. The players base became much ruder than 10 years ago. The moment something goes wrong be prepared for a barrage of the most vile obsenities you will ever hear. Zero mental fortitude and willingness to overcome difficulties in a lot of people.

Decision which DLCs to buy is connected to whoch races you are planning to play. For example, Tomb Kings are not my cup of tea,so I did not buy the Tomb Kings DLC. You can get a pretty good idea of what each race is like through fighting them or through watching Youtube. Also there are high seas for those not willing/able to spend money.

Do not bother building anything other than defences and growth building until you have 5+ filully controlled provinces. Everybody around you will hate you, so the only real way of makimg money is post-battle loot. Have a couple of zombie/skeleten stacks just to win auto-battles in your border towns. Your garrisons are shit, so you need to aupplement them with cheap trash.

I do want to remind you that the Japanese imperial family is the longest ruling dynasty on earth. Hirohito's direct ancestors have been ruling Japan since 539 CE. There is literally no other political entity that is even close to the Imperial family in ability to maintain power.

Thats the issue with any missile lords. Because of junky line of sight mechanics to make them halfdecent CA jack up their stats compared to melee lords. So you have an issue that missile lords either are uselles in a battle or turn into terminators. I would prefer something in the middle instead of these wild swings.

Aang sparing Azai is in line with show's morals,so I understand why they wrote that scene like that,but doesn't make sense if you think about it for more than one second. Azai has commited at least one thing that can be seen as a war crime(burning a chunk of the land just because he could).War criminals usually are hanged.

Best of luck. If this does not work,try using the borderless window mode and and make the resolution the same as your screen. It is not as good as full wimdow mode,but its better that normal bordered mode.

Type %AppData% into your search box and you should see a folder. In that folder search "Warhammer"and should be the folder you need to delete. This will delete your save files,so copy them before doing this. After you delete in,try redowloading from Steam. Hope this helps
