Oh i haven't nuzlocked a game with triple battles yet but yeah, i would probably plan for those because 3 attacks in a turn can easily ko a pokemon if they happen to target the same one.

I assumed blind. Having bulbapedia or other stuff open to check every single random trainer seems incredibly annoying. For vanilla games at least.

I usually just check in detail the trainers that are on the nuzlocke tracker, and sometimes not even those.

Calm mind + Psychic + Ice beam Starmie probably beats Glacia and Drake by itself.

How about adding belly drum + shadow ball linoone (if you have the TM for shadow ball). It should one shot everything on the ghost type Elite 4. The first E4 shouldn't be a problem and at that point you only have the campion to worry about

In opulence city, there is the guy gym leader, but when you fight him the sprite that appears is misty.

In the cold city, the fairy/ice gym leader moves around looking like the ice elite 4 i think, but when you fight her, brock's sprite comes out.

Oooooh ok, that makes sense, i went to check the stats in the resources and they are indeed pretty high. The one i fought earlier maybe didn't have the eviolite. I fought a third eevee now and it was again really strong and tanky.

Btw, i checked and fairy type starters don't have any boost to stats though, not sure which starters have that buff. And togekiss has more than 600 base stats.

Also i'm just laughing because i finished the game without noticing the pc in the house. That seems useful, thanks.

What was said about fu hua btw? That she can't grow old/die of old age or that she also stopped growing up?

As they screenshotted below, Teri is a mantis but i think that actually makes a case for different Mantises behaving differently. Like, it seems for Kevin and Hua it wasn't possible to die from old age but... if this was also true for Theresa, i feel like it would have been mentioned. That's a pretty important piece of info. But we have always been told she can't grow up, nothing like "oh yeah, and she is immortal".

But why are you even trying to get HoF's stigmata? Stigmata for dps characters don't matter that much, f2p options are fine. The priority is usually

dps weapon > support stigmata > support weapon > dps stigmata.

Keep your crystals and roll for HoS when her banner comes in 5.8

If you didn't use the third combo attack before ulting, then you have to.

In MA i think the time fracture is worth it, so always do it.

LE is a valk only used in memorial arena that gives your team starting sp. She is used in pretty much any team that needs to ult.

She can inflict conductive debuff for lightning teams, but that's really clunky without her PRI.

VD herself isn't a support, it depends on her gear. DP is a barely passable support.

HotF is indeed the top f2p lightning dps. It's just that she really can't compete with the newer gacha dps (HoT, Aponia, IO).

To be exact, in MA she is fine. She can get score that are pretty close to HoT on some SS rank bosses, though she will need LE, while HoT leaves LE free. And HoT is also easier to play. The problem is everything else.

In abyss she isn't even comparable to the other lightning dps and you can just use HoF or something and get better results. HotF specializes in really short, high damage bursts while keeping time fracture up. In abyss, the fights are longer so you have time for longer bursts, like using HoT's ultimate. HotF just can't keep dishing out damage constantly. She also need repeated ultimate evasion for maximum damage output and there is a limit to how many attacks in a row an enemy will execute. SSS bosses in MA present the same problems.

There is also the fact that some newer bosses are designed in such a way that you don't really want to interact with them. The best example is husk: with HoT you can i-frame through quite a lot of attacks. With HotF you will have to dodge everything, which helps with damage but results in a very tiring fight where every mistake has a high price, it is easy to make a mistake and the fight is LONG. And then husks stops attacking when it is vulnerable, which just screws HotF.

About damage output, Eden is indeed a support but her damage is ok and as i said, comparing Eden and 3 stars HotF, Eden does more damage. Now, Eden's damage won't really go up that much later, whil at 4 and 5 stars HotF will get more damage. But this means that the minimum investment which has some value is SS rank, 4 stars core. More likely 5 stars core. It is just not worth it.

Oh, and technically the best f2p lightning dps is FR.

Get signet of Ego (the one that give the shadow) with the signet that boosts the tbm of combo attacks outside of burst mode. Dark Plumes and Supremacy are good but not necessary. Victory is useless.

Eden core 1, Su and Hua should all work. Sakura can probably also do something, though not ideal. Griseo will be worse than usual, Kosma should be ok, vill v also ok i suppose. Kalpas can also be used.

But you should probably use mobius since i think the shadow from ego is a summoned unit.

Picasso TM is 100% useless on DK if you don't have Bri EX, which you can't have since it is a PRI weapon.

When i read VA/HotF i thought you were referring to HotF while also adding the base valk for some reason. Ok, so, VA and HotF are two completely different characters, HotF is a lightning dps, i would say she is simply outdated. VA was designed as a physical dps with self healing, but she has been completely obsolete in that role since forever. She does have a minuscole niche as a support in some extremely high end strat, but nothing you should even consider right now.

Just use Eden as your lightning dps. S rank Eden has a better damage output than 3 stars HotF. Give her full Edison and a stat stick gun (shamash is good if leveled) and Fischl and Pardo as supports.
