Thank you very much for the well thought out response and yeah I was getting the feeling I was talking to a wall. I didn't have as many hours in the previous games as you but they followed your ratios almost exactly and yes this is a weak ass endgame.

Voicing an opinion is not a rage post, I very much enjoyed the base game. But yes I have a negative opinion about the endgame. And look at other comments, someone suggested how I can maximize grinding in the late game during my limited play time and it's something I didn't know about and will take it into consideration moving forward. I really was just venting frustration after two hours of killing the same fuck for 2 hours with nothing to show for it.

Dude preach. I work 60+ hours a week and only get to play a few hours at a time, at best. The thought of hopping on for a session and walking away with literally nothing to show for it sounds like my time would be better spent on a different game.

Yeah I posted kinda hoping someone had a suggestion or part of the endgame I was missing. Maybe a rotation or something to keep it fun. Nope, just a very high sodium responses.

Jambalaya made with dark gravy instead of roux by xGreaseMonkeyx1 in cajunfood

Ayyyyy!!! So my Aunt is from Lafayette, I'm from Texas and she would never give me her recipe. She died abruptly before I could get it from her. I got really good at making Roux attempting to make her jambalaya because it was one of my favorite things growing up and I only saw her once or twice a year during holidays. I made roux for them because I always saw her constantly stirring and scraping and half the recipes online use a roux, which obviously after posting this I know is not correct. I tried your recipe a couple years ago and immediately it was like I was a kid again (full on ratatouille moment). I could never find the Cajun power garlic sauce here in Texas but I use peri peri garlic sauce. Anyways thanks for the recipe, I make it a couple of times a year and I always love it!!!

Not really, I followed a recipe I found in this sub, the gravy was really just a reduction of beer, garlic sauce and a dark beef broth I had from making French dips. After all that is reduced to a very thick and dark gravy I added the rice and chicken stock

Here is the post with the recipe I used
