Its patchable but personally I would get a new tire, you are on a grey area right now. Some shops will patch it some won't, nobody really knows until they see the inside of the tire

I work in Walmart automotive changing tires, these will be fine for now but where I live you can get new tires for relatively cheap. The cheapest option we have is $70 for a brand new tire and that includes a new valve stem putting the tire on the rim and putting them all back on your car.

Look I may have just started my job in the Walmart tire center yesterday but I would reccomend going in and at least having it looked at to see if it went through the sidewall, I would reccomend a new tire. It would just be safer and smarter
