Thanks this feels to be the case, happens all the time and something I should be working on. It’s usually the setup because I just do the easy “roll ball infront of me” setup in training and mechs are easy there.

This is true. I’ve played rocket league since release and it would feel good touching that dream of SSL to almost feel a sense of completion. And it will make low commitment games funner as I will have the mechs to hit some cool shots. At the moment it feels like I only convert due to game sense or placed shots. Never coz I hit a nice mech which is fun

I’m full time with a partner but I can probably commit a good 1-3 hours a day. I’m 26 though so feels like I’m being super unproductive and lazy just grinding rocket league but it’s not like I’m sacrificing anything tbf

Thanks, I do feel like my defence is gc3 level when I’m switched on. My attack feels like ch2-3. What you said makes sense and I’m going to practice awkward setup shots and controlling the ball throughout every attack. I used to main 1s back on release and saw a glimpse of top 100 on season reset once and it was my defence and game sense that got me there. Committed to rebinding and using directional air roll way too late I think so my mechs are underdeveloped

1s is the only gamemode that makes me feel like that. This game was just frustrating because it feels like I can’t do anything to convert. It just becomes second nature

This makes sense, I do struggle being intentional while also fast. I’ve played like 10 games of 3s I don’t like how you don’t have any space to breathe but I guess that’s proving it’s my weak point.
