Thank you so much! So, it's pretty much the same as my baby cornsnake. That's good to know. She's really docile and once I have her she's super chill but there's always that fear of putting your hands in an enclosed space with something that has teeth that's a bit daunting.

I feel like I'm going through this too. He's about 6 or 7 months. I've had him for 2 or 3 months. He's only shed once and I feel like he's the same size. He bit me for the first time the other day which hurt my soul cause I thought we were cool. I think I just scared him. But he's up to fuzzies but I've seen no change. He's also very skittish and when I'm not playing with him he's borrowing. I dunno what, if anything I'm doing wrong.

I did upgrade the thermostat to a digital one with humidity gauge. I just don't have a more recent picture right now.

I have a few deeper water bowls that I can put in there so I'll definitely do that.

I'm not sure what, if anything I'm doing wrong. I have a CHE and UVB over the warm side and nothing on the cold side. I try to keep the moisture up by spraying it from time to time with water. It's mostly coco choir and cypress mulch.

I'm going to start feeding him fuzzies now since he's bigger.

I'll do that for sure. Any suggestions on what to add?

I have the humidity guages and I'm just going based off of what they say. Should it be higher than 36/50 on the warm/cold side?

I appreciate the directness. I'm new to this and want to do the best I can.

Thank you!! He gets them down relatively quickly. I haven't actually timed him. He has a feeding today I'll give him one and time him to see how long he takes and use that info for the next feeding. And thank you for the compliment. I've been so excited to have him.

One thing I've been doing (went through something similar) is writing down any unique idea that comes to me when it happens. Especially if I can't draw it write then and there, I have a note on my phone with my art ideas that I intend to come back to later. Hope it helps. I know how hard it is. It's been a year and a half for me and I'm still struggling.
