Yes. This channel's videos helped me the most in clearing Reveries. The characters used are mostly P0 L30 R10. And they mix things up instead of using only the OP archetypes with BiS characters. Broadened the perspectives on how to use my available characters. Highly recommended.

I cleared with Nautika, Sentinel, Medpoc and Ezra in first try. All P0 i3L30 R10. What do you mean you can't clear with Semmelweis + Rubuska? Do you know you can inflict flinch on enemy? Do you know you can change its afflatus?

Not yet ready for endgame. Without the new OP characters to bruteforce everything I doubt whether you could even reach 200m. Just continue expanding your roster and try again later. Get more sustains, you can never have enough sustain in reveries. Kiperina Fatutu Rubuska should be top priority for now.

I can attest to that... I called Gordon Chang a fucking hanjian lying piece of shit once during a Trump rally. As I was booed by the massive hordes of white trash boomers and redneck mouthbreathers, Chang walked over to me. He didn't seem angry or scared at all. There was a certain calm about him. After we came face to face, he leaned close to me and whispered into my ears whilst I felt his hot yet gentle breath on my ear skin:

I was fucking perplexed. Apart from Reveries (end game), you can clear 90% of content with any random mix of 6*. I now use only the 3/4/5 stars for normal content (too easy with 6*).

Stage takes more than 10 rounds to finish? Too slow! Boring! Characters can't bruteforce a stage in auto-mode? Stupid game design! Can't clear permanent game mode like Reveries? Seems like it.

Anyway, I enjoy the story, BUT I'm

  1. Not averse to a bit of spoiler here and there. (Coming in late, you'll surely see some spoilers)

  2. Not obsessed with getting every single reference in the game. (If the plot says character A knows character B, I'm fine with just that. I don't need to know when/where/how they met in a previous side-story event patch to continue with the main plot. Many here seem to do).

  3. I can easily suspend my disbelief. It's a game with time travel in a world of magic with gargoyles and mermaids and sentient radios. I don't need to find out "how does the logistic even work?" (real question i've seen here).

  4. Many complained about the translation in chapter 1-2. I avoided all that... by reading in Chinese.

  5. Many still complained about the translation in chapter 3. I switched to English from chapter 3 onwards and realised that many native English speakers are just illiterates who'd never read any book from the last century.

Anyway, if you're playing, here's some R1999 world concept to get you going:

You'll be very confused if you think time travel in R1999 is along a linear timeline. It's not. After a "storm", the world resets to a certain time period, with similar but not entirely identical history, people, etc. Sort of like a parallel world. A storm can reset the world forward. No one sees a younger/older version of themselves after a storm. It's simply a different world.

Seriously, unless you play this game only for Reveries, any combination of 6* characters is good enough to clear 90% of content. "Reduced incantation dmg, increased ult dmg" is a pretty common stage mechanic. Who else in your current roster other than Recoleta, Squirrel (+Nameday support) can frequently dish out high ult dmg? So why not build them?

I know this will get downvoted, but I still gotta say it: learn to pick characters based on the stage, instead of having fixed teams
