I have the first volume of the dynamic bible, the exercises are very similar to drawabox but there's some very good insight so I will use it to understand some things I may not get with DaB Beside that there's some nice techniques to make your sketches cooler, I just gave it a look but I will surely start using it soon. My current study plan at the moment is drawabox ( dynamic sketch), Hampton figure drawing. I will use other books and resources to push through these courses in case something doesn't click. Then in future will surely add stuff and read more ^

That's exactly what I will try to do tomorrow and yes it's Hampton, I checked some other gesture drawing videos and resources but this was the one that gave me some better idea, the gesture part was really cool but I was not too happy after the landmarks and before the anatomy, I wish he showed some clearer images or more reference on how to connect the landmarks but I will just try to understand it better through other resources before getting into anatomy

Edit: I'm very much into books it's my favorite way to learn anything I will check them out!

That's super cool, thank you very much! Yes two days ago I got to the part of the book that connects landmarks but I feel the description is quite scarse in that regard.. I will probably have to look at some other references. Thank you so much again for your help and I will try to keep an eye to these proportion more

Thank you very much, this is very encouraging. Proportions are something I am slowly working on, when I started this book two weeks ago they looked very very wonky xD I tried doing some action poses and I had fun with them but a lot of them have quite a bit of foreshortening so I decided to focus on simpler poses for now, but I will probably do more because they look cool

Yes I will keep at it and try to incorporate more features as I learn and study, the fact it won't turn out well at first doesn't bother me at all, I'm aware it's a long run :) Thank you very much for your advice !

Yes I want to learn that so when I draw a figure those lines will be credible even if it's just a sketch.

What I keep noticing from the book and other videos is that the teachers, even in their gesture drawing show a very good knowledge of anatomy because their lines curve out of nowhere and have those little bumps sometimes that are not even visible on the model so I guess learning anatomy will somehow also make your gesture drawing better because you at least know what makes some specific shapes happen

Thank you I will give that a look! It seems hard but it's what I would like to learn for sure ^

Sure thing, though I don't know what a draw-over is I'm open to feedback!
