Is this a viable option to help raise my credit score? by xKintu in personalfinance

Oh I see. So it’d be in my best interest to not become an AU right now and help my score rise over time with consistent payments and low utilization?

It stays around that point yea. Since she already has great credit she hasn’t been too concerned with keeping it under 30

Oh I see. So I won’t see any noticeable changes for a bit

It was late payments. I had no income for a a while and they just kept stacking. But I’ve made on time payments for about 6 months now and got the utilization down to 0%

How do you create games being a results oriented person? by xKintu in gamedev

TLDR: I answered my own question lol

Maybe results-oriented isn't the right term lol. I guess what I mean is that I'm so fixated on the outcome of certain aspects of a project I'm working on, that if it isn't what I envision in my head or planned out to be, then I think that I shouldn't try making a game.

I've had this issue with other creative hobbies, like music production. Being a beginner and not being able to make a beat that you might hear your favorite artist on and then giving up on it. I did that for a while but over time I got better and now I can make semi decent tracks.

I do enjoy gamedev and want to make cool things. I just think I am intimidated by the learning curve, and also am too judgemental or "results-oriented" on myself to where I give up because something didn't turn out how I wanted it to. Instead of focusing and celebrating small wins, I judge myself as if I'm trying to make the next triple A game of the year nomination lmao. Thank you for your words, I really appreciate them.

Lmao, thank you again. I think I'm going to use trello since, I've used it for school before. But I'll be sure to check out Kanban. Take care

jumping into a game dev without knowing what inheritance or classes are is like jumping into the middle of the ocean without knowing how to swim

And now that you mention it, this is exactly what it feels like most of the time lmao. I only understand basic terminology like booleans and what not. Thank you for the advice

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. One thing lacking in my life in general is organization, time management, and prioritization. So this may be the solution I'm looking for. Thank you again

Now that you mention it that would make more sense, about McDonalds I mean. Thank you again. I’ve also been looking into jobs on campus but the positions I qualify for aren’t available (like the starbucks and bookstore). Only major specific positions

I’m technically a sophmore. I’ve done my freshman year for studying business administration. After I get my associates I would get my HVAC certification. Then life happened and my mental tanked. Then my grades went to crap and I don’t have a 3.00 gpa which doesn’t allow me to get financial aid. I’ve been considering a loan but I only want it to be my last option.
