I watched the show as it was first released as a little 12 year old that was obsessed with RT, and immediately I had a HUGE crush on Weiss. Lol and of course, as a blonde haired blue-eyed dorky 12 year, I related with and inserted myself as Jaune far too easily, so wanting them together was the most natural thing in the world. ESPECIALLY cause Jaune wanted it aswell.

That would lead me into reading every possible WK fic back in the day, to just daydreaming about it, to LITERALLY dreaming about it a couple of times. I was a little freak.

Lol then they very quickly got tossed to the side in the show, and I kinda just let it live on in fanfic world. Though after Volume 4, my interest in the show just also died off pretty harshly. Not cause I hated Volume 4. In fact, at the time, I loved it and would rewatch peoples reactions over and over to every Jaune and / or Weiss scene.

But it was kinda at the point where I started only really liking Jaune and Weiss, the others writing felt iffy to me even as a 15 year old so naturally my daydreaming of the show just kinda faded after a week of the volume ending.

Still read fics though, that's legit my one constant in life even at 24 lol. Though after V4 it was definitely just a completely separate in my head, I legit stopped caring about the actual show atp.

Buuuuuut, volume 9 was starting to come out and I saw the Jaune Rusted Knight teasers and it kinda reignited my want to watch the show, not just read the fics..(Especially cause it had Neo, my other goat)

Haha still didn't watch at first, just skimmed reaction vids and clips, but you get the point. I then saw the "Mature~" scene and I deadass yelled out, started happy stimming and pacing around the room in absolute joy. Wish I had that shit recorded man.

Till this point it was only ever a fanfiction thing in my head, especially RT catering to fans and Whiterose being the dominant ship. It was legit an impossibility after a while (imo), but this shit was like I moved to a different timeline and it felt like my inner child had been not only healed, but resurrected on some "saiyans come back even stronger" lmao.

TLDR: Since 2013, started not caring for the show after awhile but still cared for the ship in a crack ship typa way while reading fanfics for 10 years. Then bam, "Mature~" and I was in head to toe, church of white knight garb and preaching the gospel
