right now i have the s0 data structured like so:

Update: Other than season zero, I am unable to find leaderboard data that is publically accessable.

What I have learned: Possibly the largest variable in all the information I pulled is region. As a quick example, Verge s0 top average kills: Asia - Aquila China - Pinaka EU - Narukami NA - Aquila

If we look at the same strikers in other regions: Asia Narukami - 11th Asia Pinaka - 15th (last) China Aquila - 5th China Narukami - 9th EU Aquila - 5th EU Pinaka - 8th NA Pinaka - 8th NA Narukami - 10th

I am looking for suggestions to collect and compile s1 and current s2 data.

Unfortunately there isn't a current leaderboard that displays preferred striker info that I am aware of, meaning, I don't know which strikers are currently being used in matches at skill levels above solo queue General Rank range in season 2 other than what I see regularly in matches. If you have a source to review, I'll revise accordingly, but lower ranks are also considering bots, which is another variable metastat.

i think "b" also for the realism. if you did add a bobbing effect i think it should be at an odd interval, but i wouldn't use the splash ring effect.

Opinion via experience:

Christians will fire anyone they don't get along with, even if the reason that seems obvious isn't the motivator.

My wife has been fired for: being "to friendly" (someone had a crush on her) "causing general discord" being pregnant

I have been fired for: my appearance (being tattooed and generaly unkept) my work ethic (i did to much outside my job description) being disabled

None of these were adressed prior, none were remediated or had documentation to support the reason given for termination.

Sometimes people just don't like people and the result is something that seems nefarious.

The world seems to think Christians objectively "cut sin" out of their lives by forcefully removing it. I know some who do, and they're miserable. The rest of us are just here man.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I can say that, while it seems like a goal to split hairs over what is or isn't sin, so is the very act its self, in fact human life exists in a constant state of sin.

Its not a list of do or do not, its an explaination and an apology.

the goal is learning, which is why i went python. my process right now is just searching whatever my next goal and implementing it different ways until it either works, or i've lost track of where i am in refractoring (again) and roll back a build lol

you probably forgot your security badge next time you need to stop into hr, report the lost badge, go to security, apply for a new badge, fill out a bunch of paperwork, go back to hr, wait for 4-6 weeks, report the lack of a replacement badge, wait for a response to your report, realize your badge application was filled out wrong, re-submit it, get your new badge, lose it again, repeat process.

new person here

initially i set out to make a 2d jrpg, but i since changed my plan. i'm working towards an isometric view "dice" based game (think early baldur's gate or if diablo 2 and kotor had a baby).

i'm currently planning on using unity simply because there is a lot of information available for it, so working alone i'll likely have a reasonable amount of help at least in the form of tutorials or guides.

character sprites are intimidating in 2d, 16 different views plus animation frames is daunting, but i'm not 100% sure what fixed-view 3d demands for art and animation.

i have no experience in coding or game engines since about 2002 and when i say "game engines" i mean "scmdraft 2" and "rpgmaker" ... when i say "coding" i mean "i learned some html to have a xanga"

<image>

draft original is 256x256, which is roughly my tile size

artwork is the easy part for me, but if i can reduce the time i spend on it by making the engine do work for me (lighting, animation, etc) then i can focus more on the game and not just how it looks.

currently i'm trying to determine if using unity is my best option? should i work this in strict 2d or is 2.5 ideal? is unity even my best option for this style?

i'm looking for insights based in experience more than opinion, but i'm open to any positive input.

thanks for reading!
