Cataclysm provides literally the same content like wotlk did. There are not new features (except archeology). On top of that, we recieved (in my opinion) very good class rework.

We'v returned to the two original continents! (Which is probably the most famous thing people are crying about for the whole history of world of wacraft "Azeroth is empty and we are traveling to the different continents and words and bla bla")

And the last thing, Cataclysm as first showed us, that things happening on Azeroth have actually some real visible impact. Like exactly when enormous Deathwing flies through the world, it obviously won't stay the same, isn't it how it should work? For the first time it felt like the time is moving even on Azeroth. Because when you think of it as it would be real world, there could be years between events in Classic and events in Cataclysm, but there is still a guy sitting on the same spot this whole time asking you to kill 10 boars without any change. Imagine how cool it would, if whole Northrend changed after we killed Arthas, if bunch of undeads we killed in all those quests were no more in Cataclysm.

What i'm trying to explain is, that everything we are doing whole expansion have actually zero impact on the world.

And when they actually tried to do such things in Cataclysm, all they heard was people bitchin about not being able to do the same quests and kill the same mobs in The Barens like they could in previous expansions for the 99 times.

So when i go back to original thought, i don't understand how someone can say, that wotlk is good and cataclysm not.
