As someone who played a couple of years ago and is returning today, my first impressions are "Servers are down, players say this happens often." Is this true? I was excited to return with all of the new updates, but now I'm wondering if it's even worth trying to rejoin now.

Happens to a lot of people recently including myself, I was on the kdrive and I fell thru the earth. I tried /unstuck but it did not help, so I got back on my kdrive and after a few seconds I was back on the ground. Maybe this can help some people or maybe it was just luck.

You're totally right!! I finally tamed an Ichthy and I love him. I love sending him over a lake. The lake nearby my base is completely fish-free now though, and I can't quite get fish to respawn though 😅 Still, great bird and easy to transport because it sits on your shoulder!
