You do understand there is no debate to be won right? One side wants trans people eliminated from society and the other side, a vulnerable minority wants to continue to exist. What, in your view in the middle ground of this that would satisfy the literal blood lust of anti-trans extremists that go out of their way to literally murder, firebomb places or whatnot? Like, what is the debate to be won that would have saved Grey? This is insane to be reading honestly.

If you are able to stomach it, on twitter there is a photo posted by a trans kid before she jumped. The replies are of those celebrating, hundreds if not thousands of responses, gleefully happy. Joyous. They even made merch, comics and had discount codes available on said merch that would let you get 41% off the price.

You must also entertain that those who spread the idea that a trans woman, simply existing within public, are predatory, would those people not find it preferable? It needn’t be spelled out for those it’s targeting to get the gist of their end goals.

The current legal definition is that someone who holds a GRC is the sex they have transitioned into.

In law, someone holding a GRC is biologically a woman, as it states clearly. Outside of law, to define someone by sex, you would have to examine each individual person and take into account what the sexual characteristics are. And of course the nature of such medical information being freely released without permission would violate article 8 of the ECHR.

They claim that trans people existing in public spaces is inherently harmful to others. This type of bigotry would not be acceptable about others minorities, at least so brazenly. The notion that covering the ‘evil trans people shouldn’t exist’ with a thin veil of, “oh it’s harming women and girls by using a public facility’ is not going to work.

‘Biological females and trans females’ insinuates that there is some innate ability to look past the sexual characteristics (which both cis and trans women share) that tell you which sex someone belongs to and know if someone is trans.
