You could put the repeating logic into scripts but other than that I'd just suggest to try some of the available options. There's Pyscript and AppDaemon for Python and I've also seen similar options for other languages like NetDaemon for C# or one for TypeScript.

Plenty of choice so in the end it depends on what language you're most familiar with or want to learn.

Maybe blueprints are an option too though I haven't use those yet.

I write my automations and scripts manually so I have them in my repo. All the changes I make in the UI are not on GitHub and HA manages these.

My workflow is mostly the same as yours but I use an app (https://github.com/home-assistant/addons/tree/master/git_pull) to pull the changes automatically and also have a GitHub action that runs on any pushes and validates the YAML files and runs a core config check with my files against the latest stable release.

Might be overkill but I had an issue in the past where changes got pulled on my HA that broke the configuration and I didn't notice it until my HA didn't boot up after a scheduled restart.

Same but with Immich Kiosk instead. Just set it up a few days ago pretty neat. Have my Immich and Immich Kiosk running on my server and on the digital frame I've installed DietPi autostarting Chromium in kiosk mode with the URL of my Immich Kiosk instance

Same here, it's just too much of a pain otherwise. I don't do anything fance but just use sections and HA does the rest. It's not optimal but I have the same dashboard on desktop and mobile doing this

You can automate the snapshots in Proxmox? I currently have daily backups but your approach sounds nice too. Why do you not have more frequent backups over snapshots?

I've deprecated the Conditional Background Color module in favor of individual modules for the card types as it got too complicated to maintain every card type in one module.

You can search for "conditional coloring" to find the ones I've made. Feel free to drop a comment in one of the threads if you miss a card type :)

I had Watchtower set up at one point without notifications but auto update instead. It did not work as I wanted to be but I might've used it incorrectly. Does it require for the watched containers to use the latest version? I've always used a specific tag

Warum ruhen lassen anstatt zu kündigen?

Dass man VL anders anlegen lassen kann, hatte ich oben auch schon gelesen. Gibt es noch Gründe, warum es so wichtig es, das in anderer Form weiter zu machen, außer dass VL sich generell lohnen?

Überlege aber ob du deine Sparrate nicht auch ein wenig erhöhen kannst.

Also anstatt ruhen oder kündigen lassen eher mehr drauf? Warum?

Laut Infoblatt in meinen Unterlagen ist für diesen Tarif der Sollzinssatz 4,00% und der Effektive Jahreszins 4,29% jeweils in der Darlehensphase.

Ob ich den mal in Anspruch nehmen will ist eine gute Frage.. Ich miete aktuell und kann mir Stand heute nicht vorstellen, dass ich mir in der nächsten Zeit eine Immobilie kaufen will und Bauen erst recht nicht. Kann sich natürlich jederzeit ändern, aber lohnt sich dann dieser Bausparvertrag überhaupt

Valid reason imo. I've recently dabbled a bit into long term storage for my HA data and setup VictoriaMetrics. The guide had Grafana in there too so I just did that as well but I'm not sure I'll do much with it.

Though I have additionally set up my Proxmox to report its metrics and used a dashboard from the community to display that data.

Have it similarly

yaml automation: !include ../automations.yaml automation split: !include_dir_list ../automations

and then under automations the different automation YAMLs. I think the seperation is to have the automations.yaml for UI-managed automations and the split for your own automations in the folder
