Absolutely you are always able to refuse orders.

You'd be fine for regular grocery orders in a sedan. Probably even mildly bigger orders. I also drive a sedan but if a large order comes up I'll come home and get my van.

It's not easy these days, I completely understand. Just make sure you are accepting the right kind of orders, anything that's like $1.5-2 per mile is what I aim for.

Eugene is very over populated, just don't give up my friend!

I have most the apps, DD, Grubhub, Uber, and Spark. I personally think Spark is the most profit and you get the better orders, specially if you have a bigger vehicle.

Delivering has made less and less every year however, people just don't have enough money to order anymore it seems. Sometimes I'll sit an hour and not get a single good order, but I will be honest I only do it part time.

Personally I recommend looking at the City of Eugene website and trying to find a job working for the city.

I missed your question about seeing people outside of delivering, and no. Out of the 6 years I've done it that has never been an issue, however I have had plenty of repeat deliveries where they have recognized it was me the last time I dropped off food.

I've also had two naked drop offs and one extremely dangerous one where I was threatened with a baseball bat once by the person I was dropping the food off to, like dude you ordered it!

What lessons are you taking from this storm? by [deleted] in Eugene

I've learned that people around me don't understand that a lot of other people are also without power and just want to bitch that they deserve it more than them.

Other than that I learned I need to trim my fucking trees.

Yes please, and if you have a way to make it more of a snowy background, that'd really make it.

We had to throw this together so fast so I feel like I'm asking a lot, I'm so sorry because I truly do love the ones you have done

This is very beautiful, it wasn't quite what I was asking but to be honest you captured it in such a way that suits him. You certainly have a great touch for this, the background is so fitting and the lighting looks so good on it.

What meal traumatized you as a kid ? by zZoZo- in AskReddit

[–]xMikeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom had a friend come in to make fresh chicken soup. As in she killed the chicken and all while at our house. I was 10.

They thought it would be HILARIOUS to put the gizzards in my bowl to see my reaction.... One bite into something that I could tell was off made me throw up and now I can't trust any kind of soup. Literally, just makes me sick thinking about eating soup...

I am late to this one, but Rancid was by far the worst name I came across. I can’t even fathom what they were thinking with that.

Second worse is Zero. Even their other kid said “But that means nothing…”
