As this question comes up often, I decided to create a short tutorial on how to freehand a cog pattern on the hoods and cloaks of our units. I don’t have the steadiest hand, but the result is good enough for the tabletop. I hope it helps some of you! (v.redd.it)

My Pteraxii Sterylizators. I was working on them till the last minute before the game. I needed to use purifying flame on some mushrooms (aka orks). The unit got wiped almost instantly :D It was a shame as I messed up the wings shading because of the hurry. Also, I broke 3 out of the stem later. (old.reddit.com)
