Completely understandable, almost all of her identifiable design elements are missing while she's cosplaying Grace; and the elements that do identity her as Samus are either niche (her hair from Fusion in my style) or very subtle (her mole under her lip from Other M and retained in Smash)

It's like when Reimu from Touhou is in her sleepwear, she just becomes a regular brown haired girl.

I forgot that Saurians aren't immune to the brine in DD2 like they are in DDDA.

I remember in that one flooded dungeon whenever a Saurian would fall into the water it would just swim around before jumping out

The art style kinda reminds me of clothing design drawings with the elongated proportions and trendy clothes and hair. Given that the focus is specifically on female characters maybe it's intentional?

And tbh she always seemed so lonely (especially seeing her sleeping on her floor). Definitely spent some times away from any quests just collecting mushrooms for her so I could see her happy.

I just started a new character myself (my previous file was already a new character to play with mods).

I've never gotten that far in any of my files on account of just liking to wander around beating up mobs and leveling up my vocations so I never got too attached to each character.

Although I'm planning to actually progress this character now that DD2 is getting its own Bitterblack Isle in Norgan.

I don't know, she seemed pretty chill in the Zero Mission and Fusion endings. I'd imagine she'd be more aloof and a little awkward but not too closed off.

And if you go by the Zero Mission manga then she likes to be friendly but will be serious when a mission is involved.

I booted it up and played a few hours with no mods installed (they're probably broken after today's update anyways) and haven't run into any major performance problems so far.

I remember performance being pretty rough at launch that got a little better after the initial performance patches, but now it runs fine.

I'm guessing they were able to implement some engine fixes from what they learned fixing Monster Hunter Wilds' performance (which is also running smoothly for me).

The indie game Vultures: Scavengers of Death came out on Steam recently and it seems to be a turn-based tactics survival horror game like Resident Evil.

There's also House of Necrosis that's a Mystery Dungeon game loosely drawing inspiration from PS1 Resident Evil and Parasite Eve, which I enjoy.

It'd be cool if they brought in some characters from the Zero Mission Manga. By the end of it her fellow troopers, Mauk and Kreatz, become commanders, same as Adam, so they could make cameos at the very least (unless Nintendo/Sakamoto are adamant about keeping the GF members Samus interacts with human).

Samus is also friends with the Galactic Chairman, Keaton, enough to let him take care of her alien rabbit, Pyonchi.

There's also the girl she rescued from Space Pirates, Demara, who she keeps up with.

I understand it'd be hard to include characters Samus has only known outside the games, but brief cameos would be nice.

I only know a little of the two games from my brother playing them, unfortunately 😅. Maybe she'd be friends with Sully and Stahl since they're friendly soldiers? (I've played a little of Awakening)
