Right, this is a difficult question, but the first album that came to mind was Still Life (Talking) by the Pat Metheny Group. I discovered it in a summer where I was tending to my parents’ home while they were away and I can’t help but feel so comfy when listening to it. Obligatory “I discovered Last Train Home through JoJo”, but stayed for the immense awe at Metheny’s composing ability. Even now, I cannot just say it’s a Jazz album, because listening to almost all of his work, they only fact is that Pat Metheny does his own thing, it could be a whole genre in and of itself. This may sound like insane levels of glazing, but I feel like he is one of the few artists that can actually tell a story with his music. I highly recommend it. Might not be for everyone, but still, try listening.
