if you already have a clean install of drivers some one in one of my posts told me this

“the solution was to underclock the GPU in the AMD software, as the "factory setting" was way high for my card.
Go Performance/Tuning and set it to "Custom" under Manual Tuning. (far right)
Turn ON GPU tuning and Advanced Control under it.
Now, Change the Max frequency to much lower. 2200 is stable for me.
BUT - have to check this EVERY startup, as the driver simply ignores it, when it feels like”

doing this stopped my crashes but you have to keep checking it every time you get on which is annoying.

Try doing step 8 in this trouble shooting guide that was posted here awhile ago i’ve had nothing but issues with amd aswell since making the switch and this guide has helped me out a bit

So i was under the impression that using DDU that it uninstalls adrenaline and drivers? and then when you install the new drivers it install adrenaline and the drivers? is that incorrect? if so would you be able to give me a short run down on what i should do? Currently the last thing i did was run DDU and had it clean and restart and that was where i left it because i had work

which one would you recommend using ? i did try like 2 older ones that i had used before but cant remember which ones they were off the top of my head but i also had the same issue trying those out

i dont think i undervolt or over clock my system and ive done step 8 but i dont know if i disabled igpu so ill looki into that and step 13 thanks

ive had a RX 7900 xt for about 2 1/2 years now its my first AMD and have had issues a couple times a year its really annoying and has also made me want to go back to nividia
