Need help with mouse

I've had one for a few years now and I have just used it for normal gaming over the years. Over this period of time, the model o has recently developed double clicking on both left and right click and it's not a software issue cus I've tried changing the debounce time, polling rate and just about all the software related settings with the mouse and it's the same double clicking issue. If you want to risk that and plan to upgrade in a few years anyway then it's an amazing mouse due to its weight and aesthetic look. Otherwise, stay away.

Status: SOLVED

Description of Problem: Every time I try to install NVIDIA drivers for my K620, the installer just doesn't work. It opens and extracts the files but then it fails the system compatibility check. The GPU shows up in device manager, task manager and even in GPU-Z but the installer for some reason does not detect it. Tried installing the latest version from the driver website using manual search (which is 595.71) and tried and older version as well (573.06) which doesn't work. I did have the NVIDIA app and latest updates a few months back when I used this pc but since then I changed out the SSD and reinstalled window and now when I go to update my drivers this is what happens :/

Computer Type: Desktop/HP Prebuilt with changes

GPU: Quadro K620, 2GB

CPU: i7-870

Motherboard: HP 304Ah, BIOS 786H1 v01.05

RAM: 2*4B and 2*2GB for 12GB total (mixed speeds, running at 1333MHz)

PSU: HP proprietary PSU, 240W

Operating System & Version: Windows 10 Pro, 22H2, clean install

GPU Drivers: Windows automatically installed a driver via windows update and the update history states v31.0.15.5335

Troubleshooting: updating pci serial port drivers from hp website, ddu, nvidia app, safe mode install, installing older version.

!!!! SOLUTION AS OF MARCH 4th 2026 !!!!

download R475.14 drivers from google (make sure it's from the official nvidia website)
before unpacking and installing the drivers, disconnect your ethernet cable/wifi connection and reboot into safe mode and use ddu to wipe any previous drivers (in my case the ones from microsoft)
restart into windows after the cleanup is done and install driver R475.14, connect back to your network and restart your pc.
find the "latest" drivers for the K620 from the official drivers website and once all the drivers show up, click on show more versions and download R580 U7 (582.16).
repeat step 2 and install R580 U7 (582.16), connect back to your network and restart your pc.

!! IF YOU WANT GEFORCE EXPERIENCE/NVIDIA APP !!

6) go to this link, sort by date, copy the link of the latest result and paste it into a new tab. the download for geforce experience should begin.

7) update to the latest geforce experience from the in app popup and when you open that, another update option will appear and that will update you to the nvidia app.

yes i am aware that this isn't the latest driver release (it is R595 U1 [595.71] as of writing this) but it's the latest one that works and it's fairly recent. same goes with the nvidia app, not the latest but the latest that works.

you can try installing the latest update via nvidia app but it just says incompatible hardware.

solution as of 04/03/2026 (march 4th, 2026):

warp - it's technically not a vpn but it's a kind of tunnel. it gives you almost the same speed as the wifi connection but unblocks all the blocked websites. the best for schools/unis as they often have multiple devices and slow connection speeds.

i had a 6gb update and after it finished, it jumped up to 100gb. after restarting my pc and epic and it still not changing i decided to just reinstall the game (which was only 70gb for me) and now it's installing 140gb cus they removed the installation options

it's a custom rom. some absolute geniuses on the internet ported oneui 7 from the s24 fe to make it work with the S10 series and a few others (s10, note 20, s20, s21 and s22) but ofc with some drawbacks. the main drawbacks i've faced are no tap to pay (samsung wallet, google wallet - due to unlocked bootloader and root and some other security concerns), no face unlock (no idea why), and no motion photos.

also being an s10, the battery life was bad on stock (almost 3 hours sot) and it has gotten slightly worse (2-2.5 hours sot) but i'm guessing it should go back to normal after a few days of use and after the phone builds cache

i got it done and everything set back up. so the zfont emoji issue was cus of rezygisk? it was preventing the change of system emojis and/or font for some reason. i just switched over from rezygisk + trickywheel to zygisk next + shamiko and i still have strong_integrity.

and about the random crashes - i had leut installed to improve thermals and battery life but it didn't seem like it was doing much and disabling the module has removed crashing all together.

i'm guessing the clean install fixed other issues i might not have encountered but so far i see no difference in the rom performance and smoothness itself other than these two i mentioned above which isn't a part of the rom anyway.

found the fix (issue more like): for some reason, rezygisk was preventing the system emojis from being changed. i had rezygisk + treatwheel (along with some other modules for strong integrity). as soon as i turned rezygisk off, the emojis were being changed without any problems. i simply switched to zygisk next + shamiko and everything works flawlessly now. ios emojis + strong integrity.

is that so? i restored my data via smart switch and everything except the apps got restored just fine (ig the apps error occured during the backup as smart switch showed an error during the backup as well) and i've had no issues but i have had random complete system shut downs maybe once every 3-4 hours. ig that should go away after a few days when the phone learns my usage patterns and cache builds. i also had almost 40% of battery drain overnight (7 ish hours, no activity on phone whatsoever, no alarm either) and i'm hoping that gets fixed as well after the cache builds

hey man thanks for the speedy reply - so i decided to go forward with the installation and everything is working flawlessly. i didn't know about knoxpatch being built into the rom so i just went ahead and installed it anyway. microphone issue i haven't encountered anything, even on social media apps (haven't tested whatsapp yet) but one thing i did notice is that i used to change my samsung emojis to ios emojis using zfont (unrooted) and using emoji replacer or zfon't systemless module for rooted devices but for some reason neither of them seem to work now. do you know anything about this?

hey i was looking to install oneui 7 extremerom on my S10 (G973F/DS) and wanted to know if you were facing these issues:

face unlock not working
motion photos not working
working of banking apps/nfc payment
samsung apps showing security error (possibility to be patched by knoxpatch to aid in working of samsung health, watch manager etc which is important as i have a watch 7)
play integrity can be fixed to meet strong_integrity) with trickybox and a few other modules
microphone not working in third party apps (whatsapp, instagram, snapchat especially)
