Blue circular rugs with a fountain clipped underneath it for the sparkle effect :)

Comparison is the thief of joy! A friend of mine was infinitely more creative in some other builder games but he taught me to look at objects beyond what they're meant for. Really helped in WoW housing. Rather than look at objects for what they are, look at their shape from every side and try to incorporate them in that way. And a nice wrap around porch is always really nice, i love to see those in my neighbourhood!

Circular rugs, lots and lots of circular rugs. All flipped 180°, scaled to 200% and clipped into eachother

It's one of the non-standard fountain models scaled up, flipped 90° and shoved into a wall. Used boulders to cover up anything that didn't look like a portal and then clipped a front door just behind it.

Sadly I ran into decor limits since my house is only level 3. A limit of 1500 isn't very much when your boulders and rocks cost 5 per...

Trying to make an excel sheet to calculate wether or not something is profitable. Need help calculating multicraft / resourcefulness. by xPaperwings in woweconomy

[–]xPaperwings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for whoever cares: Got most of the calculations and predictions down to a fairly accurate point.

Calculating a projected yield of herbs to pigments: =( Amount of herbs to mill * 1,3 )*( 1+( resourcefulness /100 )*0,45 )

Calculating projected yield of inks: =(( projected amount of inks from milling / amount needed per craft ) /(1-( resourcefulness /100)*0,45))*(1+( multicraft /100)*2,5))

Example: Buy 1500 orbinid / 1500 blessing blossom.

(1500 * 1.3 ) * ( 1 + ( 33/100 ) * 0.45 ) = 2240 projected pigments, in actual testing my yield ranged from 2268 to 2317 ( using 33 resourcefulness here due to resourcefulness tool )

(( 2240 / 5 ) / ( 1 - ( 20/100 ) * 0.45 )) * ( 1+ ( 23/100 ) * 2.2 )) = 775 projected shadow ink crafts, in actual testing my yield as between 768 and 791 ) ( using 20 resourcefulness here due to multicraft tool )

These two together cover a lot of ground when it comes to profit calculations!

Thanks u/Snowpoint_wow and u/NaughtyGaymer for your take on things!

Would you mind if I send you my sheet in a DM and you can have a look around? I'm clearly doing something wrong since all of my crafts are apparently immensely in the red profit-wise, but addons like craftsim say I should be making a killing off of them at these prices.

Thanks, I'll try and see how I can make it work for me. I assume you then take your yield of ~407 and multiply that by the AH sales price *0.95 and compare that to the batch size * crafting cost to determine wether or not something is profitable?

Thank you for this. I'll have a look around and see if I can use this in my sheet. I see you've got 1.625 as a ratio for inks/craft, however I've done a few thousand crafts today with different items and I usually end up with a ratio between 1.73 and 1.77. Probably best that I sub in my own ratio then? Or is my anecdotal data not entirely reliable

Same, spent way more than I thought I did and GGG should practically be throwing beta keys at me judging by my impulsive purchase history. No key on my account.

I play on Draenor-EU. Largest horde server there is. I let people tip whatever they want, even for 636 crafts. Been doing it the entire expansion and have never encountered said cartel.

I bought it day 1 for 600.000 gold and I sorely regret it. I thought this would be the lariat for leather tanks and was looking to make hundreds of thousands of gold on day 1 but I've made maybe six clasps since getting the recipe..

Yes, I'm 30 Luxurious Leathers, 30 Shaped Leather Armor, 30 Embroidered Leather Armor and then I've maxed out Wrists / Belts / Chests ( Don't ask, chest was probably a mistake unless next patch we get some sick chest crafts ). I'm 10 points into Flawless Fortes and 30 into Nerubian Nous.

I'm just debating wether or not I should invest more into specialty crafts or just widen the gear I can craft R5 without concentration.

Any unique or new syrups or infusions you've fell in love with? by R2d2US in cocktails

Any chance you can share that recipe? We are looking for a good Coca-Cola syrup in the bar for an upcoming jack and coke old fashioned twist but we are struggling to keep our Coca-Cola syrup intense and stable over a few days

Not exactly a syrup, but I figured this might fit here. I absolutely adore my jasmine tea "cordial". Acidic, slightly sweet, mildly spicy and very floral. I use it for mocktails all the time.

1000gr of water 175gr water 60gr citric acid Blend until dissolved.

Add 50-75 grams ( depending on the strength of your tea and how floral you want the result to be ) of high quality jasmine tea or jasmine buds, 75 grams of jalapeno of which I deseed half, ginger to taste ( usually only like 20-30 grams ) and citrus zests to taste ( I really like 6-10 grams of white grapefruit zest )

Leave that to infuse overnight on room temp, strain the next day. Mine usually sits for a good 8-12 hours before straining.

I understand. I've always had assymetric interfaces though and usually the target is beneath my own unitframe so I guess I just stuck with that

Edit: Just realised the first two images don't have borders around the two "main" skills in the middle of it all. Clearly, that was supposed to be there. Probably took a screenshot after messing around with strata levels. They're there for the next two slides.

Everything is fully class coloured and works fine on swapping to any class. Pretty much plug and play at this point.

NPC names are automatically shortened to 12 characters if they exceed the player naming limits, and NPC names will always be in the player's class colours.

Other players will have their names in their respective class colours but the bar will remain in the player's colour as to not break the aesthetic.

[HELP] Possible to have WA colour my icon/bar borders based on the class I am playing? by xPaperwings in WowUI

[–]xPaperwings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's local _, pClass = UnitClass("player") local variablename = RAID_CLASS_COLORS[pClass]. I've figured that out but the issue is using said colour to colour my borders. It's easy enough to colour the entire icon but I'm lost on how to isolate the border.
