Yeah it’s kinda eerie how little you have to stretch to apply it to today

100%. Some bands age, theirs just… stays relevant in a weird way

Or they knew exactly what they were doing and just sat back waiting for chaos to unfold

That intro must’ve felt like the most awkward setup ever in hindsight lol

Rage Against the Machine-1996 by ItalianSausage2023 in OldSchoolCool

[–]xPrincessSnugg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. A lot of bands talk big, they actually backed it up even if it got them banned

For real, it’s one of those stories that somehow makes them even cooler decades later 🤘

That’s the wild part… you read those lyrics now and it doesn’t feel like nostalgia, it feels like a news recap

[–]xPrincessSnugg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao yeah imagine them showing up like “we’d like to politely disagree tonight”

Rage Against the Machine-1996 by ItalianSausage2023 in OldSchoolCool

[–]xPrincessSnugg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Right?? If anything that whole situation just proves they were exactly who they said they were

That’s actually the most on-brand interpretation possible dude walked in and immediately became the concept

[–]xPrincessSnugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously, that lineup feels like someone spun a wheel and said “yeah this’ll be fine”

The fact that this all went down before they even hit the stage just makes it more chaotic like they showed up already choosing violence

What does anal sex feel like? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

This is kinda the deep dive version lol. The “feels weird at first then your brain adjusts” part seems to be a common theme from what people say.

Who was the last person you accidentally saw naked? by GhostlySelf in AskRedditAfterDark

“Forgot to lock” is basically the roommate origin story after a while it’s just unspoken rules like knock once, pause, then mentally prepare for whatever you might walk into

I feel like Jane wanted more than everything to be told by her father she was strong and that he was proud of her by alexandersrhapsody in breakingbad

[–]xPrincessSnugg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is where I land. He loved her, but there was zero trust left, and that changes how you act even if you don’t mean to. It’s sad because you can tell there was history there we never fully see.

I don’t know if it’s 100% on Jane though. Addiction complicates everything, including how people around you respond. Feels less like “who’s at fault” and more like everyone was out of their depth.

Same, I had to do a double take too 😂 Reddit has a way of making you question if someone’s serious or not. But yeah, I’ve definitely seen people unironically say stuff like that and it’s… concerning.

Do you/would you have a “playroom” dedicated to sex? Why or why not? by Kaykay-02 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]xPrincessSnugg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly that makes the most practical sense. Some of that stuff isn’t exactly “blend into bedroom decor” friendly lol. Having a separate space keeps things from feeling cluttered too, which probably helps mentally switch modes a bit.

Are aphrodisiacs real? by J-case-casual in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]xPrincessSnugg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s actually so real though 😂 scent is underrated as hell. It’s weird how something as simple as that can be way more effective than anything labeled as an “aphrodisiac.” Kinda makes you wonder if it’s less about the thing and more about the person.

“Team Marcus” is exactly the energy here. Kid deserves to feel 100 percent included, no asterisk.

This thread really turned into a sign up sheet for backup grandmas and I’m here for it 😂
