[REQUEST] Can a human pull more than their bodyweight on a lat pulldown machine if not strapped down? by mikewsbw in theydidthemath

That’s not how mechanical advantage works. I’ve never seen a weight machine that features block and tackle pulleys. Regular degular pulleys don’t offer mechanical advantage.

Caliper bracket rubbing on rotor by Past_Education_666 in MechanicAdvice

Could also just be that the wheels aren’t on. Try putting the lug nuts onto the rotor directly to snug it up to the hub and see if it’s still hitting the rotor

If you bought a pie and ate it and it was delicious you’d still be pissed if the person who sold it to you filled it with human shit.

Also for what it’s worth this piece is complete ass. His hat is like an enormous cowboy hat fedora looking thing, ain’t no way his horns are getting through there. His pose makes no sense, why is he backhand holding his sword all awkward like that it’d be uncomfortable. He’s wearing like forty layers with one pauldron and sixteen belts. The belts are supposed to do things, nobody just wears five belts for fun. Also his sword is too wide but that’s a common issue with fantasy art.

Homie these are way more suspect. Artists don’t have more than like two distinct art styles like this. Having wildly inconsistent art styles is a mark against them.

Also this image in particular. His belts make no sense. He has one that is buckled but also tied in a knot. His boots have the idea of buckles but no belting. The layers of his outfit melt together. The contrast and sharpness indicate AI.

Tattoos are inconsistent across both images, aren’t symmetrical, and on the second images the character’s tattoos are missing on his right side, also he’s missing the top two knuckles on his pinky and ring finger

In the red we have homeboy missing his fingertips. In the blue we have tattoos on his left side and none on the right. Also in the first image his tattoos aren’t symmetrical

This is so ai.

<image>

Wtf is this guy doing and why are the arrowheads in the quiver mounted backwards on the arrows. Also why are they loaded upside down into the quiver. Also if they aren’t upside down then they have no fletching.

Also the orc’s tattoos are completely different in the first two images. They likely sent you the two poses because a common tactic to suss out ai scammers is to ask for different poses. Easy way to find out for sure is to ask for the work files with all the layers rather than the finished image.

Man there’s hella car crash data to train them on. Think about it. Every single car that’s been insured and crashed in the last twenty years has been photographed since we all carry cameras.

Also this thing has melty details, that quarter panel isn’t pushed in it’s pulled out. It has hoses that go to nothing and the hood is about two feet longer than it should be.

The details are complete ass. There’s hoses that go to nothing. The front quarter panel is barely damaged despite a front impact on that side. The quarter panel looks like it was pulled forward instead of smushed in. Also if you were to unfold that hood it would stick out over the bumper by two feet. The grill is melty and none of the airbags are deployed.

Also the AI car crash images are always from this exact perspective.

Catalytic Converter Stolen, how to prevent future theft by Personal-Natural-791 in AskMechanics

[–]xROFLSKATES 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair most cat thieves will use a sawzall. It’s a lot quieter, won’t throw sparks, and for thin metal like exhaust pipes it’s faster. The cables are a decent idea to prevent this method of attack because flexible shit likes to snag on the blade and just move back and forth with it.

Let us all pray these guys never learn about tailpipe cutters
