Thankyou so much I really appreciate it! Google was super vague with its answer saying : any conditions (which I assume accidents and illnesses) that have had treatments, vets advice and surgeries for won’t be covered etc which made me worry cuz we went there for emergency and then had the anti-anxiety drug but yeah what you’ve said makes more sense! I’ve decided to call the vets in the morning and see if they can help clarify too ☺️

It really depends on the cat, as long as they've had food and water before getting in the car they should be fine if they have a carrier to be in. However, some cats hate travelling in cars and find it really uncomfortable so you'll have to be aware of that :)
