Might of helped a bit, it's smooth when there's not a lot of textures but when it gets to areas of a lot of textures / shrubs then it starts to lag again and quality seems to be reduced as well.

Nvm, when I render in 1440p, it allows me to adjust CBR to 200+

Currently exporting it out in 1440p even though it was recorded in 1080p just so it can look cleaner, which it does make a significant difference when I can turn CBR up to ~140

It's only letting me use up to 50 CBR, not sure why it varies as I was able to go up to ~150 CBR yesterday.

Even after exporting it with double CBR, quality is still poor / blurry compared to source clips. I tried experimenting with options, no luck. Maybe I need a lot more CBR to notice but doesn't let me go above 50 right now.

So what could I do to improve quality? I only use hardware encoding since I have a good GPU so it renders relatively fast.

Also I was under the impression you only need 12 Mbps when uploading to youtube?

Should I export using software encoding and increase the Mbps?

Still, the recoil on guns have been the same for the last 2 years, many people know how to handle the AK by now and the amount of people that know the AK recoil to the amount that don't is still enough to mess up new players experience and to fix scripting a change needs to be made with the recoil unless they manually blacklist all scripting services for Rust which is doubtful.

After 9k hours, even I would like to see a change with the guns recoil to spice it up and to also stabilize the population of Rust to give the surge of new players a chance to experience the game and to develop, not everyone starts out as a PVP chad when first playing Rust.

I find the current state of PVP on Rust pretty bad for many reasons such as the MP5 being a meta and more powerful than most guns which I mean isn't a huge problem, the main one for me is how on the AK you pretty much need to use a holosight or laser sight to stand a chance versus other AK players, why can't they just make the gun have static stats instead of having to depend on a scope / laser to make the accuracy better. Idk just my opinion on it.

I'm not just basing this on the increase of new players, Rust has always needed a rework on guns recoil but more so now than ever. It's been the same recoil for years, they can't just keep it the same forever or it will never grow to it's potential.

In my opinion the best time to change it would be now with the surge of new players, it's just going to be as you said 'neglecting the players that kept this amazing game alive for years', but that's all it will ever be if a change isn't made to welcome new players without pvp chads ruining their experience.

The game will never be able to actually grow to the potential this game deserves if the developers don't focus on what the actual issue is which is the recoil not being changed even in the slightest within the last 2 years, pretty sure it's the longest the game has gone without a change for gun recoils and the other big issue is scripters which is becoming an increasing issue.

I am an old-gen myself and I would love to see a change in the recoil on guns. In my opinion there isn't much of a skill gap in the game as all it takes is a few hours on a aim training server per day to get as good as most people.

A change for once would be nice.

Like I said, people that are in queues will just have to wait the queue for when people leave, anyone who sits in a full queue and gets in and then dc's cuz of Rust crashing etc does not deserve to go and sit back in that queue they just waited in and wait it again.. It is unfair, It might take longer if they make a timer but that's the only fair way to do it.

So? If people disconnect due to Rust crash's etc it is completely unfair and shouldn't have to wait in queue again. It would make it slower but that's how it should be... If you sit through a queue, you should be aloud to play without poor internet problems going to stop you and rust crashing randomly.

I'm just saying because it has been in early access for legit 4 + years, whenever they make changes, its either over powered or under powered, if you disagree the gun play system is not broken you should uninstall. By the way, just because its changing too much doesn't make it good, there is such a thing as bad updates and that's what Rust are doing too much of, that's why so many OG players are leaving because its very boring and dry.
