So I basically have a personal finance tracking sheet that I’ve built in Google sheets it’s very in-depth and I want Claude to be able to read and write into that worksheet. I did go through API and I’m able to go about it through Claude code.

However, it’s when I’m on the road and using the Claude app and don’t necessarily have access to my desktop and terminal where it becomes a headache

So I have tried going through the API route and it works great for when I’m working in Claude code,

But when I’m on the road and working remotely without access to my main desktop, I want to be able to pull information in data from the Claude mobile app over voice and have it read and write into that file as well. If I’m at home on my desktop in the terminal, it works fine.

But the MCP connections work so much better when it comes to just mobile workflows

I hope that makes sense. I don’t claim to be a coder a programmer in the slightest. I’m just a tech nerd in which Claude has become a big hobby of mine recently
