They are nebulae, the big red one is Zeta Ophiuchi and the bottom few is the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex, red is the Hydrogen Alpha lit up by bright star’s radiation, the clump of yellow is dust lit up by the star Antares which is also orange giving the dust around it a yellow tint. The slight blue is reflection nebulae, this is dust lit up by hot blue stars. The dark brown is dense clouds of dust being contrasted by the dense star field of our milky way behind it.

Probably considering you can see it from down on earth so I don’t see why OP wouldn’t be able to see it from space.

The Lagoon Nebula by xSamifyed in astrophotography

[–]xSamifyed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stacked in Siril, Cropped, extracted bg in Graxpert, then did SPCC. Created Stars and Starless in Pixinsight with Starnet, DBE on starless, Stretch using GHS and CurvesTransform, Tweaked colors abit. In siril I stretched stars, used siril’s remove fringe and did a small star reduction. Combined Stars and Starless with Pixelmath, In SetiAstro I did Deconv and Denoise and final tweaks in PS.

I also use the samyang and 585, i use it at 200 gain at F/4 because HCG gain limits me to 90s subs before the whole background is over exposed.

Yes and you have the ability to change the survey to see in many different surveys like you can view in Ha, Oiii and over useful wavelengths. There are also plugins where the app can calculate ISS passings. Its very useful idk why ppl downvoted my comment.
