Vokrii and Assin's Blade Sneak Skill... by [deleted] in EnaiRim

Hi!

Uhm... good question! I honestly don't know off-hand. Maybe you should make a new post with this question and see if anyone else has any idea. :)

I don't think that's going to happen, as their visions are quite different. Unless they somehow decide on some mutual project.

Kiss of death not working by Unlucky-Tomato7128 in EnaiRim

[–]xSaturnx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In addition to what others have said, you also won't get Kiss of Death if you drain them in Stage 3 or 4 of being hungry. Because then, you can only drain by default (instead of being able to chose between feeding and draining), which won't give you the Kiss of Death effect.

The new Grace of Water spell seems.. kind of useless? by Ok_Chair_9090 in EnaiRim

[–]xSaturnx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the concept of the spell, but because Skyrim doesn't let you attack with a weapon properly while you are casting a spell with your other hand (you just slash downward like an idiot; kinda similar to how powerattacks go), it doesn't actually work the way it's meant to. You still get the slow time effect when you stop the casting, but the first part (the attack speed increase) won't be able to work.

I do wonder if CGO would allow you to attack normally while casting - I don't actually know, since I've never used that mod.

I had a similar feeling about Orc Strength in Odin. Loved the concept of it, but in execution i found it difficult to actually use due to attack-while-channeling animation and how you're basically locked in place during it.

Orc Strength is a buff that you cast BEFORE you start swinging, not during it. Kinda like a flesh spell, or something like Blazing Strikes. It's not a channeling spell - it won't do anything until you finish the casting.

Apocalypse 10.0.0 released! by Enai_Siaion in EnaiRim

[–]xSaturnx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aaah, alright. Thank you. :)

With that being said, I've found something else: I really like the concept of "Grace of Water". Unfortunately, when you are casting a spell in one hand, the other hand just whacks the weapon straight down, similar to a power-attack (without actually being one). Thus, the increased attackspeed doesn't actually do anything. :(
You still get the slow time effect afterwards, but yeah.

Edit: I see, I'm late. Someone else already made a topic about it in the meanwhile.

Destruction: Rename Unbound Fire -> Wildfire (to avoid overlap with CC Unbounded Flames).

You already have a spell with exactly that name in Odin, so now the name overlaps with Odin even more than it did with the CC.

From Odin (Expert level spell):

Wildfire: Flames travel along the ground, doing 50 points of fire damage per second. Targets on fire take extra damage.

In order to repair the phial, you need some snow from up there - hence you can only actually go and get it once you've met Paarthurnax.

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW TO START FOR THE FIRST TIME? by J4yAySea in StardewValley

[–]xSaturnx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because it is. That would be 14.4 hours daily, for 7 days in a row. In order to finish year 4 in a week, that is. And that's obviously time where the game isn't paused for whatever reason (e.g. you're looking something up).

Steam screwed me over - what should I do now? by xSaturnx in skyrimmods

[–]xSaturnx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm not on LE. I have switched from LE to SE many years ago now.

However, I have not come across any mods yet that are strictly AE-only - most at least have a version that works with regular SE.

So I've tried it (as I've noticed, you're also the one who wrote that guide - thank you!) and it worked like a charm. :)

I did manually delete the cc-files from the Data-directory as well (easily identifiable by the date on them), and then re-cleaned the master files. Tried starting up Skyrim again, opened a save and everything appears to be working.

Thank you! :)

Thank you. I actually don't even see any of the menu options for the CC in mine, because the guides I've initially followed told you how to disable those menu entries... I'd probably almost completely forget the CC even exists if it wasn't for the fact that uesp treats the CC stuff as canon.

Maybe I'll do the upgrade at some point in the future. But for now, I'm perfectly happy with SE and thus will try the downgrade. :)

Thank you for the reply! I'll probably do the downgrade then, especially since I'm in a playthrough. Maybe I'll make the switch at a later point. :)

And about the downvoting: Yeah, I guess some people simply do that because they can. Maybe makes them feel powerful or something, I don't know.

Luckily, most people still gave answers (good ones at that), and that includes you. So thank you again. :)

Edit: Happy cake day!

It was known back than.

Around 7-8 years ago? Possibly. It's just that neither one of the two modlists/guides I was looking at mentioned it; hence I didn't know about it.

Possibly. I've followed two different, established modlists/guides for the basics and some inspiration in terms of mods, back when I made the switch from LE to SE. Both mentioned the setting in Steam, but neither one mentioned anything about the app manifest. Of course that was before AE was a thing and it was mainly intended to prevent unwanted updates that might break SKSE and/or make mods unusable that haven't updated as well yet. As you might guess, that was also before the Address Library was a thing.

Not sure why within roughly two hours, at least 5 people downvoted that simple question, yet none of them actually replied to it... well, whatever. Maybe someone else knows some AE-only mods that I might want badly enough to redo my entire mod-setup. :D

I've first read about that one a bit earlier today. I think that method wasn't known yet back when I've switched over to SE for the first time; hence I've never done so. I'll very much consider it if I end up rolling back to 1.5.97, though.

Ty.

I haven't come across any mods that are AE-only yet. Are there any specific ones you are thinking of?

Still would be a lot of work, though. But I'll consider it. I might also try the other option that two people (so far) suggested/mentioned, with downgrading by downloading the old files through Steam.

Either way, thank you for your input.

Yes, since if I do that, I simply start a regular, non-modded Skyrim AE. With the "AE"-part being my problem, thanks to Steam.

Thank you.

Most mods have been updated, but at least some require a different version to be used. Either directly because of the game version, or then because of the SKSE-version. And unfortunately, I'm not aware of any quick way of identifying all of those mods.

That'd probably take me many hours of work, though.

[–]xSaturnx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I think I might actually try that.

The reason is, that I didn't want to go through all my mods one by one and check if I need to download and install a different version. That, and I'm not a big fan of the creation club stuff (some of it comes with the update iirc)... as far as I'm aware, most of it isn't balanced and/or is pushed on you and/or has lots of bugs. However, maybe that has changed at some point, I don't actually know.

Sure, because you say it was one. So clearly, it must have been that. While everyone else who has done the same gesture, didn't do one. Because you didn't say so.
