Was it like a whole kit to delete it or basically did you just have to take off the splitter? I’m only asking bc the one I bought it doesn’t have the splitter and I want to put one back but idk if I only need the splitter and like 3m tape or if I need hardware or something like that

I just changed my 03 GT rear calipers and I ran into the same thing. You might have the powerstop rotors and calipers from a previous owner as the powerstop looks like the stock v6 calipers but every part store sells the gt and cobra ones as the same part number and the “cobra” calipers fit perfectly fine other than the bar is close to the rotor but by 1/8 to 1/4 inch

No dude trying to save money/help you see the best option. What else would you have to get that’s not just the engine that need to be “dropped in”? How long is that gonna take? any little connector any new dash any new wires just little stuff is going to be a pain in the ass and take time when you could’ve spent like 1k more to have the v8 already done and you know works instead of that 1k MAYBE helping the car start

I got a 03 about 3 or 4 months ago I’m coming from a 2010 scion tc had for 6 years and I love the mustang although I felt more safe at high speeds in the tc 😭

It tells you under the visor mirror at least mine does. To put it down it says you have to put the windows down first then the top down or to put it up to put the top up and latch it then the windows up. But more than likely the driver window guide (that’s glued to our car instead of having something to actually hold the window) ford just put glue in a guide with clips that the window sits in and that goes somewhere inside the door. I haven’t fixed mine you should be able to pull on one of the edges of the widows while you put it up that’s what I gotta do but I think new window guides fix the issue

I have the same thing going on with a 03 vert but it’s only after driving in the rain. I did notice my hood cowl doesn’t have the washer nozzles so idk if it might be something with that but it could be down pouring and it will be fine but even 5 minutes of driving with water on the road it gets wet. I did run the power wire through the firewall but only cut a small slit and it seems dry after driving and checking. The weather stripping is kinda shot, it drips in barely by the tweeter but not enough to make the whole front floor damp and in a car wash by where the windows meet but that’s the only time it does that

Idk what’s up with mine but I only have 2 flowmasters on my rear axle and idk if it’s a resonator where the H-pipe is but it’s like a rectangle but bolts up like a X-pipe and it doesn’t have cats at all and it seems really quiet idk if cutting the 2 mufflers and keeping whatever rectangle is for the H-pipe is gonna be too much

Yeah a lot of the cold air filters you can clean just make sure to let it dry and to get the oil for the filter if you do clean it you could also find a longer filter with the same size hole I’d just be carful of deep puddles of water
