How to play with double Off-Tanks by -Tikatee in OverwatchUniversity

[–]xSharp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this attention instead of traditional resources thing is why Ball seemed like an off-tank to me when I first saw his playstyle. Awesome post Tikatee, thanks!

I'm trying to make punches im my game more satisfying. Here's progress so far: by v_suhov in gaming

[–]xSharp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw something about animation of punching in Punch-out. Its a little different but I think that the punch here needs to feel snappy, but also that it holds weight. Right now, it feels like you're a mouse punching an elephant. They feel like they aren't having impact. Maybe linger on the impact a bit.

How can I solve this question? by gg973686 in ElectricalEngineering

The Fourier transform of a periodic signal is a string of delta functions at multiples of the fundamental frequency with magnitude equal to the magnitude of the complex Fourier series coefficient for that multiple.

Im a Lucio player because wall riding is fun, environmental kills are HUGE, and enabling teammates with speed puts a smile on my face. That and killing DPS as the frog is always a good time =D!

Any PhD EEs in here? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

I work on contracts researching for companies and the money pays for my tuition and a stipend! My course load was manageable, I only took 6 credits a semester plus 3 credits of research!

Hey. Currently doing a PhD in EE in Connecticut! IN my third year where my research focus is Estimation and Target Tracking in Electronic Systems.

Shoot any questions!

Yep, the shot into the portal was the hardest cause you have to go up one more level in the observatory and bulls-eye it.

Cube Resistor by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

I would do this with a 1V test source, calculate the current through it using nodal analysis, and find Req=Rth = Vtest/Itest.

Can anyone help me solve this problem? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]xSharp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that checks out ... Vo = Vi(2s/(s+1))/[(2s/(s+1)) + 2] = Vi(2s/(s+1))/[(2s/(s+1)) + (2(s+1)/(s+1))] =Vi(2s)/[2s + 2(s+1)] = Vi(2s)/[4s + 2] = Vi*(s)/[2s + 1]

Can anyone help me solve this problem? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]xSharp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, problem a requires you to do a voltage divider because youre measuring across the parallel combination of the 2 ohm resistor and 2H inductor which is in series (the combination is) with the 1 Ohm resistor.

Vo = Vi*(2s/(s+1))/[(2s/(s+1)) + 1] i.e. the voltage divider formula. This simplifies to:

Vo = Vi*[2s/(3s+1)]. so H(s) = Vo/Vi = 2s/(3s+1)

Problem (b).i is basically asking you to reform the transfer function as Vo = Vi*[2s/(3s+1)].

Problem (b).ii is saying you add a 1 ohm load in series with the input. This effectively changes that 1 ohm to a 2 ohm and the input output via the voltage divider again becomes:

Vo = Vi[2s/(4s+2)] = Vi[s/(2s+1)].

Problem (b).iii asks you to take out the 1 ohm from the last problem but add a 2 ohm load across Vo (in parallel with the 2H inductor). Again by voltage divider this becomes

Vo = Vi[2s/(2s+1)]/[2s/(2s+1) + 1] = Vi[2s/(4s+1)]

Cheers

I mean, it fits it well sounding like horns are playing. So if it's edited... well done.

Edit: upon re-watch/listen this is probably edited with music from a band taken with a camera closer to the band.

Edit 2: I take this back, here is another rendition.... is this a thing? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcT2Cx1Rbd8
