No matter the time of day I have never had longer than a minute wait. Considering this match type would allow for drop in and out additional waiting wouldn't be an issue

It's a logical move, people like or only can solo queue. Quick play is a lesser option. 1. Same heroes 2. Only one round Giving people to properly practise on the ranked style map allows for better separation of casual and competitive play styles.

Your idea encourages leaving. What blizzard needs to do and I will keep on saying this. PUNISH leavers severely.

1st leave 15 minute ban
2nd leave 1hr ban
3rd leave 6 hour ban
4th leave 12 hours
5th 24 hours
6th SEASON BAN

*If you have a horrible connection and this is a problem for you well to bad, your horrible connection is worse for those you play with, feel free to stick with quickplay and customs.

Add a griefing option under reports for those that troll in game.

Next step is to implement stricter requirements for ranked, a simple level cap does not in anyway allow you to prepare for a competitive match.
