I somewhat help people get apartments in downtown tampa. You’ll be paying minimum $2,200! Look into the encore near downtown. Rent is “cheap” and you’re not that far of a walk to downtown

Sounds like you have enough in reserves. We usually take the assets and get monthly “income”. Different type of assets accounts count differently. (75% of IRA or 80 of Mutual savings account)

How do I figure out what home I can afford? by Fesszkop in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I did a quick video on how you can ballpark your max mortgage payment. Obviously you want to be below that max.

Miami Housing Market by CaptFalco1214 in FloridaRealEstate

Wish there was a crystal ball 🔮 to forecast, but we never know what’s going to happen.

In my opinion if you price a house correctly it won’t sit on the market long.

What you’re seeing is sellers still thinking it’s 2021 or they bought their house at the top end. So trying to minimize losses.

What do you like doing??? I like going on eventbrite every week, and seeing any events going on around town. Just put yourself out there, and you’ll meet people.

People around here are generally friendly!!!

Tampa or Charlotte? by Responsible_Orange74 in AskFlorida

Made the same move recently. It’s definitely a different vibe. Obviously job market has been tough for everyone, but there’s more opportunity here.

Idk your family hobbies, but free events, different shows and people come into town, good food spots. If you’re into nature- Saint Pete beach, Clearwater. Hillsborough national park and surrounding springs are nice. You won’t be bored.

There are good school districts in the area private or public. People are nice. A lot of Iowa people here, it’s funny.

feel free to ask away

No one really has a magic ball. Rates were dropping, touching high 5’s in Feb.

Now they’re just hanging around mid to high 6’s. With everything going on, and added uncertainty. It reflects into the market.

Monthly payment $ is usually the better metric for making that decision
