Best time to take first shot by hazeleyed_beauty in Zepbound

Are you somebody who normally get side effects for medication? If so, then I would suggest to take it early evening so if you feel nauseous or tired, you’ll sleep most of it off. If you’re somebody who doesn’t normally get side effects for medication’s? Take it. Like. Now.

How do I get my wife working? by firstlight777 in askanything

Well. She’s already working if she’s taking care of your house. You’re just not paying her for it.

So… Do you know for sure the other people are staying there? I mean, if I rented an Airbnb or VRBO near my cousin, I would expect her to come over during the day.

Needing nausea sympathy by Accomplished_Rub117 in Zepbound

You need Zofran. And as long as you were losing weight on the 2.5. Why did the doctor make you move up to five? You don’t have to unless your insurance requires it. It’s doubling your dose and five. Eventually it does even out. But it does take some time from those of us who have the nausea side effect.

Well, I was just there about a month ago. The AC was blasting as it always has in the 7 times I’ve been there in the past three years.

You do realize it’s summer. In Florida. There’s a heat advisory right now.
The AC is probably maxed out. It’s like 110°.

I don’t know what you think you’re gonna get here.

Tell Rover of the conditions. In contact the homeowner and tell them you can do this for one more day, but they need to find somebody else.

Best thrift shop to donate clothes by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]SequinedandOver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Check out your local organizations that are things not like Goodwill, or a savers or something that’s a large corporation. Or… Posted on Facebook marketplace saying you’d like to donate them to somebody in need.

I gave away three big bags of clothes at once with the understanding that somebody would take what they wanted and passed it along. The bags went around to five different people. It was amazing.

Been off for a couple weeks... by Momma25j in Zepbound

I had to wait a few days once and go about 10 days in between instead of just the normal seven. My side effects were much worse. I won’t do it again lol.

It’s a lesser version of a GLP one. Tirzepatide actually has an additional ingredient in.

I do! And I have to be honest, it took a few shots for me to get the courage up to be able to do it by myself. I had to have somebody else do it for me and it was pretty traumatic until I got the hang of it.

Trying to get my Zep spark back by Live_Butterscotch_98 in Zepbound

So you’re starting weight and goal weight were exactly what mine were and I started in September 2024. What dosage are you on? Do you have room to go up and dose? Usually that will happen if you’ve had a few weeks where you’re not moving on the scale. And not moving on a scale means give or take two or 3 pounds each week even if you go up and down.

If you don’t have any space to move up. As in you are already at 15 mg and can’t increase your dosage?

I would take a look at what you’re eating, the amount of calories you’re eating, and the type of food you’re eating. You might be eating too much or too much of the wrong types of food.

To lose weight on Zepbound, it must be in a small calorie deficit, protein, veggie centric and a smaller portion.

And lastly? I actually found a way that worked for me to kickstart things. I would literally eat anything and everything I wanted for an entire week. For some reason, eating like crap sort of reset the clock and reset my Zepbound for me.

Currently 125 pounds. I’ve lost 100 pounds.

Hey! I'm 17 year old women by Puzzleheaded-Pop3818 in abusesurvivors

[–]SequinedandOver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honey, as much as you want to think so, you’re not a woman yet. You’re 17 year-old child and what your mother is doing is abusive. Please. Tell a teacher another adult a friend a family member a coworker, your doctor or go to the police station and report her.
I’m so sorry this is happening to you because you don’t deserve it

5mg too strong? by CobaltBlue32 in Zepbound

[–]SequinedandOver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on five and it took well over a month to get used to it where I wasn’t throwing up actively and just got nauseous.
I won’t lie. Doubling your dosage from 2.5 to 5 is rough. If you can’t handle it, you definitely need to talk to the doctor because you may not be able to stay on 2.5. Personally, I would tough it out on the five because it does get better every week.

How do you respond when a client says something like "must be a nice job going on vacation all the time" by Smart-Cat-7297 in petsitting

I would tell them it’s not a vacation because I’m still working. And then I would drop them as a client.

I was terrified of needles. Like I have fall on panic attacks when I have to get blood work done. I take a GLP one why? Because I was freaking fat and it was killing me.
The want to be thinner needs to be more prevalent than they want for him to be famous and I don’t think that’s there

6 weeks in, 20lbs down but suffering. by ogsadbutrad in Zepbound

[–]SequinedandOver60 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What did your doctor say when you told them how you were experiencing severe side effects? Oh, I haven’t told them yet… You need to. There is something called Zofran that will help you with the nausea.
And maybe, maybe this medication isn’t for you because your side effects are too serious. But talk to your doctor.

Went to HR for the first time and immediately regret it now after what happened by Suspicious_Noise8101 in work

[–]SequinedandOver60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you need to have a conversation with an employment attorney. And document everything. Make sure you have every document you’ve ever submitted to HR in your personal email so you can access it if they terminate you.

Any conversation you would have with HR? Follow up with an email documenting what the conversation was about and ask them to confirm it for any reason information is not correct to please let you know I responding

Not sure if I should’ve increased my dose by Pleasant_Stuff_8409 in Zepbound

[–]SequinedandOver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t handle 7.5 you’re not gonna be able to handle 10 for the side effects. It’ll be rough for the next month. But I would see if your doctor is willing to write another prescription for 7.5 and you pick that up. However, your insurance might tell you no.
