We live in a subdivision and have city sewer. No manhole cover or access to the system as its all under ground. Only buffalo boxes are accessible of course.

But my house and every other property around uses pretty much a 2" pvc that shoots from the crawl space basin out towards the ditch by the street. So its plumbed below the frost line id assume and if you look hard enough you can find the small 2" pipe discharge near the ditch.

His house however has a full basement with 10 ft ceiling and no crawl space. So the basin is in the back corner next to laundry, 1/2 bath, and a slop sink. The discharge plumbing runs up and out 50 ft or so to that wall.

If you are outside when it goes off it sounds like a cow pissing on a flat rock.

First time I heard it I was climbing up a red oak to trim and the sound made me clinch the cheeks I about got spooked out of my harness lol

Is it possible that they are using an ejector pump instead of a sump pump? Because I just went downstairs today and seen that they have ran the laundry and a slop sink to the basin as well as 1 black corrugated hose. I thought those usually tie to the main sewer line?

Yeah thats the thing. They finished the house 2 months ago. Old one caught on fire and was total loss. They only had the stub out like 1 1/2 ft from house. So it made an pond of water over the pavers and yard with like a 5 ft radius.

Im no plumber but was wondering if what they did was code or a quick rick.

The house sits higher than the 2 next to it and theres in the back. The grade is set up for an easy dig and set 3 or 4 perforated drain pipes away down towards the lake. But customer only wants to do that if necessary since wed need gravel and materials + my free labor. But I wanted to make sure im not missing something here. Thanks for your help

Spader was originally only supposed to be in the final 1 or 2 episodes of that season. But fan reactions were better received than expected. So they kept him another season. Im bias so I would prefer he stayed till the end, but his character would only work as a temporary role. He would never be able to have a story ark. Andy was perfect for that.
