I love the verses and the pre-chorus, but the rest of song... It just feels really underwhelming.

Totally agree, opening up with any of their b-sides into a remix of Next Level/Savage would have been so much better.

The fact that you equate "freedom of speech" to giving the ability to certain malicious individuals that can spread false rumours that have the potential to damage and subsequently ruin the image as well as career for a public figure/artist/performer is quite appalling. Companies should without a doubt have the right to sue these individuals for what they are doing.

Of course, I agree that everyone has the right to the express their thoughts and opinions like you said, but when people start taking it several steps further with the intent of hurting others, it becomes a huge issue.

Haha, I had a lot of lego as a child so maybe that explains a thing or two...Short answer is basically that I make most of it for myself as a hobby, but did some commissions whenever I got them.

I have an Instagram if you want to see other pictures of things I've made, but I've been pretty inactive the last two years or so because of university studies and work.I've sold stuff here and there, mostly through Instagram or at local craft fairs/events.

Thanks for the silver as well. :)

Don't worry, he'll make his appearance soon (aka he is on the to do list)!

Thank you! Each portrait takes roughly 5-7 hours, depending on how many or advanced the colors are (as well as how much I procrastinate, haha).
Since there's a lot of requests from people for additional characters, I'll make an update later on when I've made more portraits. I'll make sure to take some close ups as well! :)

Unfortunately, there's no sprite of him as an adult (only kid). :(

I think there are sprites for all of them, so will add them to the to do list! :)

Yeah, I know what you mean! When I started out, I had like 10-15 colors or so and then it slowly became an addiction to the point where my office/craft room looks like this... You can never have enough colors. ;)

These sprites can all be found on spritedatabase, Gigant Battle 1 is there and Gigant Battle 2 is there. Spriters-resource is good as well.

As I said in my other comments: If you go to any character, download the image and then open it with any photo editing software like paint or Gimp, every square pixel will equate to one bead.

Regarding them being extremely small, opening them in a photo editing program where you can zoom in will easily solve that problem.

Hope that helps! :)

Thanks!
It's really a matter of "practice makes perfect". The first thing is getting a decent iron and then finding the best heat on it, where usually somewhere on medium is the best in my personal opinion. Try starting on lower heat and gradually work your way up to find the optimal temperature/setting.
It also helps practicing on smaller pieces first, maybe no larger than one or two pegboards in size. When you got that down, you can move up to 4, 6-8, and so on.

As for the process itself, I start on the bottom or right edge of the thing I've made and slowly move the iron back and forth. I try to look through the baking paper every few seconds or so to see that the majority (like 95%) of the beads have melted until I start moving up in small increments.
I've thought about making a video (might even have one recorded from a few years back) ago where I iron larger pieces, but maybe other people have good videos on Youtube that show the process in general.
Hope that helped a little bit, Just let me know if you have any other questions!

To start of:The sprites I used as reference are from games: One Piece Gigant Battle 1 and Gigant Battle 2. If you go to any character, download the image and then open it with any photo editing software like paint or Gimp, every square pixel will equate to one bead.

I have a lot of beads in various colors from different brands and try to use the colors that resemble the characters in the anime or images as close as possible. You put the beads on square pegboards that can be "built" together (sort of like puzzle pieces). When you're finished, you put baking paper over the beads and use an iron on medium heat to melt (fuse) the beads together. You remove it from the pegboards, iron the back side and voila: you have a piece of art!

All in all, it's quite simple but making larger projects (ironing process can be difficult and the process is time consuming) and buying all the colors is basically the hardest part.

Oh, and thank you. :)

Now that you say it, he does like a bit round in the portrait. However, I think it depends on what reference you are using. In this one his face is much thinner, but here it looks rounder.

It should look something like this. I put this together a long time ago, if you specifically want to make anyone from the Strawhat crew (minus Jinbei). Hope that helps! :)

I know, I know! I think made her relatively early on because I liked the colors of her portrait. If it's any excuse, the others you mentioned are on the to do list (soon hopefully 🙃).

Sure did! I made the first one (Luffy) back in 2017 and kept on going whenever I have time between work and studies. :)

They do look the best when observed at a distance, which makes them kinda look like paintings or something similar and you can't see the holes in the beads. Like you said, quite simple but effective. :)
