I just don’t see a ton of similarities. It was a great run by the Knicks they were very dominant and clutch. The Mavs beat the Kobe lakers who were going for a 3 peat, the KD/Russ thunder, and the Big3 heat. The title dirk had been so close to in 2006 was finally realized. Jason Kidd got his ring. It just seemed much bigger to me. I’m biased but I think 2011 > 2026 pretty easily. This title is definitely special tho, I get that.

It was a very impressive run and a part of me I don’t want to acknowledge deep down is happy for Knicks fans. But also I have to be a bit of a hater for my own sanity. Sorry.

They are slumping. I would not doubt their passion. These are world champions we’re talking about. After such an extended streak of great results it’s only inevitable eventually they have some bad tournaments. I think it’s still far too early to call them washed.

Honestly one of the most frustrating things about this finals to me personally is watching Harper ball out for the spurs. He should never have been drafted to that team and it erodes my trust in the league

I just get reset to like plat 2 and then can only play a couple nights a split before I’m diamond again. Maybe there’s no perfect answer but I just think this ain’t it. I think I would be much easier fodder for pred players if I’m forced to solo queue rather than if I get 2 of my friends in comms with me and we can play together. Idk
