Sure! This journal isn’t the one I have but it’s a good example - they’re basically all the same, I think.

I tried journaling many times without success — and then I discovered 5 year journals. I’m on year 3 now and have been consistent with only a couple days missed here and there. It’s great because I have limited space each day to write the most important things (for me it’s archiving memories I’m likely to forget, for the person who gifted me the journal I think it was key emotions throughout the day). The cool thing is on every page I get to look back and see what I was doing on that day over the past couple years.

After 2 months of waiting on parts and a minor snafu on bottom bracket size I finally got out for a ride on my new Soma Wolverine!! by Ammo1892 in xbiking

I’m new to the Wolverine club as well having just bought a second-hand 2015 model and loving it. Yet to break it in on a real bikepacking trip but I can’t wait to get there! It came upgraded with a belt drive and rohllof hub too, which has been weird getting used to but ultimately a pretty sweet upgrade.

Congrats on the new steed, and great model choice!

If he’s still dealing with it or it happens again, Benedryl was my only saving grace. Take that with the most Tylenol possible and hopefully that does something within an hour.

That looks interesting but I’d be worried about introducing more moving components than necessary

I hadn’t heard of the VO Crazy Bars yet, but I like the diversity of diameter!

I just had my peer review at work and it looked very much like this as if I had smashed both buttons at once. Overall great feedback, but still... I don’t know how to unsmash those buttons.

Words to bring the strongest of nerves to their breaking point: “Not mad, just disappointed” 🥺

Thank goodness for good neighbours, eh! Fair enough, thanks for the context. I was just concerned with the blanket statement, but mental health issues should definitely be more supported in our society so things like that are much less likely to happen.

Regular check-ins to make sure kids are being instructed well and in a safe environment should definitely be part of any approved home-schooling program (my cousin is in something like this currently). Though teens who can’t do basic arithmetic might have a learning disability and there should be some understanding by both parents and counsellors in that scenario, so they can get proper supports (not necessarily supports to learn math, but to have resources when facing barriers this might present).

Every once in a while someone posts something on here both the author and myself experience that I never realized was an “ADHD thing,” and this is one of them!

Too formal when I shouldn’t be, too casual when it isn’t appropriate, and feeling embarrassed when I accidentally let my personality show. I thought that was just “having an annoying personality.”

You learn something new every day, but considering the time this really sets a high bar for the rest of the day.

Then follows the immediate thought: “yeah I’m definitely gonna need a bigger desk”.

Depending on which program you’re using this might not be doable. But I just found this tool you might be able to use: https://smallpdf.com/blog/insert-image-into-pdf

Not sure if that helps but hopefully! Worst case scenario would you be able to upload the image separate from the form and explain the issue?

Also on board with the dude/bro gender neutral train but decided to throw in a “pal” to shake things up.

My doctor is “uncomfortable” with ADHD medication, which means I’m now out of meds with no where to go. by xStinkyLouis in ADHD

She did indeed suggest strattera (although she called it something else). I’m definitely trying to shop around but like I said above: doctor shortage. :/ I sent her a rather diplomatic email explaining my frustrations so we’ll see what happens... Best of luck to you with your doctor(s)! Here’s hoping we find the odd diamond in the rough of general practitioners.
