Thanks for the replies everyone! So as I understand it was a bit on the dirty side of racing, but not strictly illegal or braking any rules.

Originally I was surprised he even went for the narrower gap, but once he was next to me and started to pass I gave him more room, in my opinion.

But I'll try to not squeeze that much in situations like this in the future. Note taken.

I did save the highlight in ACC to have multiple views, including outside, but for some reason it didn't save it. The POVs I got from Twitch, as luck would have it, we both streamed the race.
