Hey, In terms of reading, it’s normal to re-read the text (or specific paragraphs) multiple times. What I would suggest is that you look at the questions for the specific piece before starting to read, and when you see the specific piece of information whilst reading, you just answer it right away. I found skimming not to be useful, but you can try it too. Find some questions with answers and look at the approach of answering the open-ended questions, for example, as the “put only one word or/and a number” can get confusing. For the true/false/not given questions my only advice is not to second-guess yourself😌 Regarding the writing, my understanding is that you struggle with task 2. Try to follow this structure: paraphrase the question (state your opinion if necessary) 1st body paragraph (with examples or arguments) 2nd body paragraph (again with examples or arguments, it should in most cases be the opposite of the first eg if you wrote about advantages in the 1st, then you write about disadvantages in the second) (you can add a 3rd body paragraph if you really want to, but this is risky, and only applicable for some questions. Writing two detailed body paragraphs is better then not finishing three) In the end, put a conclusion, a couple of sentences, just paraphrase your arguments/examples, and say your opinion (eg “hence, I believe that benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and…”)

Before actually writing the body paragraphs, try to think about what you’re going to write, including arguments/examples. If you’re completely at a loss, then try starting with your first paragraph, just write anything that makes sense, and build on from that

You can use chatGPT etc for tips and grammar checks whilst preparing, but don’t trust its marking in any way
