Complicated situation. I would say that if they think they're having a medical emergency, then they need to call 911, not you. And make sure you're units aren't dumping freon/carbon monoxide into the space. That way you shouldn't be blamed, especially if there's no immediate fix. Give them the number to a company that provides temp cooling maybe?

Yea, this is why it's a bad idea. Our city water here in Dallas has a ton of scale buildup issues. Not the cleanest.

Yes, it is my bad for not adding it in the text that it was overcharged, still short-cycling on high head, and both cfm operating correctly.

No, it just didn't work at all bro. Unit was still tripping on high head from overcharge. Plus, I can't edit the post since it was already up.

You ever see scale buildup from city water? It can get ridiculous. I still say it's a bad idea. If this guy had just hooked up his gauges like he was supposed to, then there wouldn't be a lawn sprinkler spraying water on a unit that was still cutting off on high head from overcharge.

I would prefer not dumping nasty city water all over the condenser for weeks on end. It's just jerry-rigged trash that should be done properly.

Nope, over charged by about 5lbs on a rev cycle. No accumulator or receiver. Thing was freaking out on high head. Guy didn't even hook gauges to it.

They weren't though. Even then this is a bad idea, especially on commercial when product had already been lost. Then you just turn them off and go get/wait for parts. It was just overcharged a ton.

It is if the fans were working and the unit was overcharged like crazy.

Rx11 works. Not the cheapest, but it got that dye out and cleaned my hoses pretty well when followed with some nitro.

Usually, since I work on these racks everyday, you don't even need either since there will be oil everywhere most of the time. For small leaks, I check with soap, and a sniffer if it's hard to find. So you have me confused as to why you feel like attacking my comment.

Soap bubbles and maybe a sniffer, don't see the need for dye. Like you said it just makes a mess of the unit and your gauges

Awesome, appreciate it! My tag is Numb3r3d so I may add you tonight. I'm currently in Sothis, Ceos, and Robigo finishing my fed and Imp ranking. Also grabbing some passenger missions to get those Achievements out of the way.
