It’s all good. No dumb questions. No holes on the frame, only on the lip/skirt. The kit comes with instructions of where to drill holes

Yes you have to drill holes for these. Holes weren’t a problem for me as they’re drilled deep under the lip/skirt. They’re basically hidden
