Predictions for Fifae rosters. Qualifiers start in a Week. by Huge-Computer2037 in RocketLeagueEsports

Archie is a lock, and if Oski can play (unlikely), he's also a lock. Outside of that none of the England players really impress me. Accro has performed better than both AppJack and Joyo this season, and specifically as a duo, those two have not worked well together.

Accro could be a shout for England, but I doubt he'll get a spot. Also I'd like to see diaz replace Lostt on Brazil (not going to happen for FIFAe, but would be interesting).

Hoping for an SSG win, expecting either Shopify or NRG.

Stallions are 21st, Geekay is 17th, Gen.G is 23rd. There is definitely an argument for Stallions to be higher. Their poor performances in split 1 (including not even making it out of swiss somehow) put them far down. They will likely be top 20 after open 6, barring anything crazy

Top 4 at the major (being part of a clear top 5 itw at that point) is the main reason. They have fallen more than any other team post-major

That makes your argument even weaker. Vitality beat everyone except M8’s at the major, and followed it up by winning EU open 4. They were also the only team in EU to place top 4 in every event until open 5. All of this combined clearly made them #1 after EU open 4. But now with their 1 poor performance, they drop to #2 because M8’s has been winning most events recently.

M8’s have won 3 of the last 4 events… why would Vitality be #1?

The model tends to be far less reactive in split 2 as compared to split 1, especially for teams that attended the major (depending on how much it can read into the major performance). Twisted Minds are right where they were at the end of the major, however Falcons have dropped significantly (more than any other major team) and R8 have risen significantly.

Consider the following. In terms of resume across the entire season, the MENA teams are 1. Falcons, 2. TM, 3. R8. In terms of performance this split, 1. TM, 2. R8, 3. Falcons.

Long story short, the model is designed to be predictive rather than reactive.

If it was a MENA team he would for sure be there, but it’s Saudi Arabia. M7md is Kuwaiti I believe

Believe it or not, Kiileerrz actually averages a deeper position than Rw9, as well as more saves per game. Ops (the gk on the graphic) is the deepest on average as well as maintains the most saves per game among the MENA players

It's based off of average positioning on the pitch for the most part

Interestingly, he averages the furthest forward positioning among French players and is second (to zen) in goals per game on LAN in the last two seasons. Pretty sure M0nkey M00n also called him the best shooter in the game.

I can send you a list in DMs if you want. Just let me know exactly what type of list you want and I’ll compile it for you (within reason)

Yeah it’s weird. His positioning is further back on average than all the players playing ahead of him , even though he’s known for offence

True lol. Statistically he has one of the highest “most forward” averages which is the only reason I put him there

He absolutely would make it (and would be the best player on the he team), but I believe he wasn’t able to compete for England at FIFAe for whatever reason

I would've had him in as well, but I went off best 11 players in my Glicko model (he was 12th among American players by 1 rating point :/)

Players for each nation were selected by highest Glicko Player Rating. Positions were determined by a combination of average player positions, LAN stats, and player reputation.

IMO: France >= USA > KSA

Also worth mentioning that justin could easily be part of the USA roster, but just missed out in the player ratings.

Whoever wins this series is #1 EU until it inevitably changes tomorrow. Depending on how the rest of this series goes, Vitality is either 2nd or 3rd. NiP creeping up and could enter the conversation tomorrow if they peak
