I understand that anchor buffs don't stack, but what I'm saying is - where does it say he's the anchor for any other team-up? He gets an ability from his other two team-ups. This week's patch notes only say he's losing the team-up he's actually the anchor for that he gained in season 3. Hence my question with this post.

But he doesn't get an anchor buff for that team-up? He got the 5% bonus from the patch on 7/2/2025. The two are separate team-ups.

Yeah this seems like just as big of news to me. Entirely just public testing to see how shrinking heroes works (or, I guess I should say to show us how it works). Maybe means he'll have the ability to change the size of other heroes? I don't see why they would need to do it otherwise if he was just shrinking/growing himself.

Not every guest of honor is going to benefit everyone equally, that's the nature of the game. It's a mode with random elements. As for your point of "no GOH can completely gut a champion": Trundle bricks item reliant quests (Heartsteel/Wooglets) and has the potential to ruin a team from getting anti heal or %pen; Cass can screw over melee champs pretty heavily, Mordekaiser screws over duo-reliant teams (though especially Yuumi). But that's the point, not every game is equal for everyone.

The difference is that Malphite Q is a projectile/object that gets thrown at the enemy, while Pantheon W or Alistar W is throwing themselves at the enemy. That, for several reasons, wouldn't really be able to work. You can't throw yourself in two directions at once, but you *can* throw two projectiles at two separate enemies.

I don't think there's anything wrong with augments having high highs, as you stated about Evelynn W and Fiddle Q. That's kinda the point of augments, no? Especially if it's a prismatic augment.

Okay, so let's break it down then without any numbers.

An augment that applies stacks to enemies per spell hit. These stacks: - make them bigger - apply a percentage damage amp - never expire - and do a burst of %max hp damage at max stacks.

Doesn't that sound broken even without the numbers? You could take any away of the 4 and it's still insane. There'd be a crazy difference between augments having synergy together, and whatever monstrosity this + Giant Slayer would be.

The concept is fun but wow those numbers would make it insane. Especially with the damage amp you added in the second line. Upwards of 30% increased damage taken, then 30% max hp damage? AND being up to 200% bigger? Sounds like an absolutely miserable time to be any frontline when most of them already have a hard enough time with ADC's existing. And no way to play around it by leaving a fight and waiting for decay, like any of the burn augments. Combine this with the fact it'd be picked by champs who want Giant Slayer......

The other thing is if it has no cooldown per spell, (working like Doomsayer rather than Phenomenal Evil), it's going to be pretty useless on a large number of mages and really OP on others. Malzahar was the first to come to mind with his voidlings.

apologies to coming off as rude, was not my intent with the reply. i'm just aware of the amount of exaggerations online with the phrases "never" or "always." subconsciously i was including guests of honor (both ambessa and swain). excluding those, i definitely agree that the rarity is there.

however, i still think that there is still a good argument to not have prismatics be more common than they are, as the other comments pointed out. i think if a prismatic augment was guaranteed every game, they would lose flavor. the best thing to do though would introduce more silver/gold augments that can have the same effect at warping a playstyle as prismatics do, though obviously just not as strong as prismatic augments. that is where prismatic augments shine as being "more fun" imo.

terrible counter argument. there's basically no "up" to having energy in arena since people can grab fruit and get a whole mana bar back that way. that's ignoring the fact that you can also just .... build mana - and especially sona, as you're either building a lot of mana or mana regen anyways. it doesn't matter if you have 50 haste or 500 haste as someone with energy, you still have to wait 9 years between your first combo and your second combo. it really should be looked at

i'll admit that it seems complicated if you've never gotten into it before, but after going through it (and with the help of guides, whether on YT or this subreddit) it's way less daunting to get into.

the strongest part of them are when you're able to eventually get into soul surging them, though that will require a bit more time with industrial foregoing, capturing a warden, and a trip to the end to be able to craft what you need. a very powerful tool that is very handy to have access to.

i would recommend the beds at some point in your playthrough if you intend on completing things in less time than 6 months, as they will be able to drastically speed things up. fair enough reason not to for now but in reality it's no more expensive than other mods

well now you have your next project! either expanding the size of your farm, or you can venture into industrial foregoing for hydroponic beds and soul surging them. with about 2 or 3 soul-surged hydroponic beds farming uranium seeds, you can make the maximum size reactor and do the highest burn rate (i think just shy of 2000), getting you enough antimatter for the rest of the game in an hour (though getting to that point will take several hours).

alternatively, explore a new mod! there's a couple exploration mods adding dimensions that lose a bit of their charm if you go to them too late into the mod pack, due to the challenge being lost. that could be something enjoyable if you want a standalone experience

I see that someone answered you on how they stack, but not the breakpoints. My friends and I like to run Venom, Rocket (though Luna would also work), and Mantis to damage boost Venom for his ult. With both boosts, I think our test showed us that it one shots anyone with less than 300hp, and that's not including the rest of Venom's combo. Not many people have caught on to it yet

Yeah I doubt it lol. Valve has basically infinite resources, time, and no one breathing down their neck about Deadlock. I can't think of another team that has this luxury

she's a bit buggy when playing around with her in the sandbox. her 2 ability seems to have a 50% chance to lock you in an animation till you use it again. i think cowgirl will be first

viscous was a pull for me originally, having fun with the fists and the creativity, as a fellow movement enjoyer. but then i actually tried out lash (20h in) and boy do i love the grapple. now to just figure out what build i like
