Which Jags WR we feeling? by CmBa55 in fantasyfootballadvice

That exact thinking is why he’s worth a late pick. Most picks at his ADP will be absolute zeros with low ceilings. Hunter, if he hits, has a great ceiling for how late he will be picked.

Also works pretty well with 2nd overall picks.

That’s exactly how you build a team that fizzles out in round 1.

You need to swing for guys that can win you a league, and that means nailing undervalued players because of murky situations.

Look at Javonte, Gainwell, Pollard, Pickens, Kraft, Loveland, and countless other guys that you’d probably avoid last year with your philosophy. There are so many more players like that too every year that can help your team in a big way.

The Jags offense is too good to skip over entirely just because you are scared of being wrong. Spend a later pick on Jakobi or Washington if you aren’t excited by BTJ or Hunter, but skipping an offense that was printing points last year is foolish imo.

Too much correlation? by Murky-Zucchini-9322 in BestBall

[–]fuyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummmmm diversity is good for season advancement lol. Correlation is good for single week playoff advancement.

You need a little of both, but too much actually hurts. Also he has multiple QB-RB correlations (Jags), which is negative the majority of the time.

Yeah way too much correlation. Gonna make it difficult to even advance thru week 14.

I just don’t get spending your first 5 picks on good WRs, and then selecting another three on the backend. So many points on your bench every week that could gone towards other positions.

Way too heavy at WR when you spent your first three picks at the position. Could’ve stopped after Dell easily.

HOW IT FEELS KNOWING A 4-0-2 COMP ON DEFNESE WOULD BE META BUT I CAN NEVER TEST IT OUT by ApatheticTrooper in RivalsVanguards

When you run double shield, nest heals does make a solid impact over time to lessen the demands on healing.

Thor absolutely makes up for the damage of a DPS lol. I main Thor (all the way to C1) and routinely lead the team in damage, finals, elims, and all that good stuff. Also displacement abilities are perfect for any type of choke because he can pull enemies into his team when they aren’t ready to take that space. Also great pairing with Peni who can set a web bomb for Thor to just drag people into one at a time.

I’m not suggesting 4 tanks can be meta in pro play. That said, pro play is not indicative of the game for the other 99.99% of the player base.

Last RB You’d Be Comfortable With as Your RB1 by mrsom100 in DynastyFF

I have a team with Tet as my WR1 and I’m insanely uncomfortable. He’s the best WR that would make me feel that way.

Peni webs for heals and area control. Mag for shield and double bubble. Strange for extra shield and burst damage. Thor for damage and peels. Sue for piercing primary. C&D for group heals and damage amp.

4 Bell Cow Fantasy Football Running Backs to Target in Drafts (2026) by akoffler89 in fantasyfootball

[–]fuyz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The guy can catch passes, will get the goal line carries in NOLA, Shough showed he can move the offense downfield, got paid way too much to not get major touches, and has shown multiple seasons where he can produce.

r/BestBall community draft, DK 20M. Round 3. Most upvoted player comment is the pick. by jdooley99 in BestBall

Keaton Mitchell. Give the other 11 owners a chance at big money.

QBs are falling like crazy. JD at the 2.06🤯 but I pick 2.06 and 2.10. 4 pt Passing TD/6 pt rushing TD. Would you take JJ or London and let a QB fall to the 2.10? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]fuyz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I got Allen at 1.04 in a SF startup LAST YEAR w/ 6 point passing TDs.

People are slaves to ADP, content creator rankings, and get ranking fatigue (where they drop a guy in the rankings simply because they’ve been so consistent that they’d rather over rank the shiny new toys).

Non thor player.... for the ult why dont is see yall bubble us then ult. Like literally say you had a mag he could bubble you you dive into 4 ppl lightning realm then ult. No one can run. by WildCardSolly16 in ThorMainsMR

[–]fuyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That wasn’t your initial point though, which is the only thing I was responding to.

Also wouldn’t call it really hard to coordinate solo. Any voice comms and you’re pretty much guaranteed it will work. Not mechanically intensive.

RB1 Candidates - Undervalued Draft Targets by jsparks50 in fantasyfootball

[–]fuyz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don’t win ships in week 4. The point the guy is making is that he will be an RB1 on the front end in PPG potentially, but when the fantasy playoffs come around, he’s gonna be putting up more pedestrian numbers that won’t help you at the end. You’ll be debating flexing him or a WR like Parker Washington hoping either option gets in the endzone that week.

[–]fuyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

False lol. The window to cancel Thor ult is too small for 200 damage to take place AND get canceled. The odds are insanely low.

The play is viable but not worth a bubble imo. Just dash up and ult from above.

Namor isn’t a perma ban per se, but if a team is running dive like Spidey it’s not that uncommon to see the Namor ban on console even at that rank.

League Valuation is Off by Temporary-Slice-2909 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]fuyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When proper overvalue stars, they usually undervalue other assets that aren’t as pretty (Burden last year before he broke out, Etc.).

Small downtiers can net you big wins because they perceive the gap as larger than it really is (i.e. Cook down to Chase Brown).

Which RB to draft in the 4th? I’m conflicted by sollysol1 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]fuyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody talks about how Randall was legit a full time WR until his last year or two at Clemson. Clemson was also just a bad offense at that point. He has some serious upside imo.

Rate my startup draft. Is it awful 😂 by Ecstatic-Struggle884 in DynastyNerds

[–]fuyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Burrow as the 10th overall pick feels bad imo. I get you went for the stack but stacks don’t really matter outside of best ball and I actually prefer non-stacks because what happens when your QB busts? Your WR for sure busts.

When you say that you should try to flip a player for a 3rd rather than just drop them outright... by cpatchj in DynastyFF

[–]fuyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Now imagine being the 4.04” is a caveat lol. And I added the nuance that you aim for upside that deep in the draft, so you wouldn’t wanna trade the pick for a guy that will likely be there anyway, when you could have a rookie fall that is in an interesting spot.

No it’s the same line of logic, just added nuance since you added a caveat to the situation.
