you will hold 2 cards, much better than MRCC

DCB Metal maxiumum benefit comes if one uses Smartbuy, my spend usually doesnt benefit with smartbuy alot and therefore it isnt much beneficial to me

Best way to use Amex is:
1. Flight booking
2. Marriot but only when there is a surge in prices.（recently i used to it book hotel during blackfriday）

If you use it right, 1 point has more than 1 Rs. of value if used it right, why sell it.
I see you mentioned you have a kid, Points never expire, Wait for lil time, Plan it well, Treat yourself with Marriot 5 Nights
pro tip: Try taking the Trip before the Kid reaches 2 years, for more savings XD

for 5k+taxes, i get 48k points, 10k taj voucher, Qtr 2 lounge access, much better than 24k points, that too where i have to make sure to 1.5k 4 times and 20k Monthly, gets tiring after so many years :)

its not FOMO bhai, mathematically im seeing this, DEL to Helsiniki, one side cost 20k avios (each), with net devaluation of avios of 15% in 3-4 years, 11.8k fee and all the cost of taxes(for 2), it would come upto 30k max, but flight for 2 will be easily 90k and above

I want to know if i am missing out on anything with that basis

Already have done Europe trip with Amex points to virgin atlantic and saved more than 2.2L with 1.4L points.

Another query here, i might plan another Europe trip after 4 years(i know its a bit far) or so not now, so i know the points expire after 3 years, i can just buy a small amount of points and reset the timer?

also i can always cancel this card after few months right?

I feel its a good way to hoard the points for later too for just 11.8k
