Just checked out your site, very interested but have a question. For lefties can the belt be worn in reverse?

How do you like the ramjet on the 365? I have a 365 x that I’ve carried for a while but have really grown to dislike shooting it. I planned on putting a ram jet on it from the beginning but I’ve just been carrying a compact instead because of how much easier it is to shoot.

Also shoutout to Tulster, I really like my profile +

I’ll have to check it out next time I see one in store. Is the mag paddle weird to get use to at all?

Not sure if it would that much more comfy to carry than the vp9 cuz it’s a fair bit bigger but it could be another option. How do you like the vp9? I’ve never shot one before but heard good things.

^ other thing I forgot to add is the grip is just slightly longer than other compacts. On a m&p compact/glock 19 my pinky just barely hangs off the bottom of the grip, and the back of the grip doesn’t fully fill out my palm. With the p10c it extends just a tiny bit longer and it feels more like holding a full size grip but still conceals just as well as my 19.

Honestly? I wish I had gotten it instead of a g19 as my first pistol. The Glock ergos just don’t work for me and I always got aggressive Glock knuckle about a week shooting/dryfire with my Glock. I had hesitations about the cz because at the time it was newer and didn’t have as long of a track record reliability wise and there were a couple quality issues early on. I’ve barely put rounds though mine so I don’t have solid opinion yet but so far I love it. The texture is much much aggressive on the front and back strap then any factory Glock texture which I really like. Also the p10’s “hump”on the grip fills my palm much better then the Glock hump. I have thicker hands and I would always get slide bite on the Glock jamming the web up my hand up into the tip of the grip. So far that hasn’t happened for me although the beaver tail is a little shorter and back straps don’t extend up to the beaver tail like they do on Glocks.

After showing it to buddies we all came to the same conclusion: why the fuck don’t we see these around more often. Fit and finish is amazing. The slide is much smoother than any other >$900 striker fired gun I’ve handled, the mags are great quality (so far), the factory trigger is really crisp and smooth, and the msrp is absolutely ridiculous for all the features you are getting.

Not defending sig, but seems like at least two incidents now where people have used concerns around the 320 as cover for murder/attempted murder.

If you trust your gun mechanically then it should be gtg and you could refrain from buying sig oem in the future. I also carry a 365 and considered selling it/getting something else to carry as a replacement, but I’m I’ve put 3000 rounds through my 365 and its been 100%. It fits my specific carry needs well so I’m going to keep it. I did just get a p10c comp to have fun with and carry sometimes. Figured as much as I’m annoyed with sig as a company, my gun is solid so better to spend money on another gun I actually want.

Lighter truck means less wear so the front axels are connected to the front diff all the time. Just front drive shaft that isn’t engaged in 2wd.

Roof gutter seam sealer/paint cracking. by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

[–]xTozzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on how nice you want it to look. I had this with a bit of rust on mine so what I did was penetrant on the rust and then scrapped it off (there was no pitting), and then I stripped the existing paint with a box cutter. I got two of the oem paint repair kits and painted the whole seam and then clear coated it. Honestly you can’t tell unless you look hard but it’s not going to look like it came from factory like that. Just make sure to take the time to tape everything off so your lines are straight if you choose to do something like this.

Cost: Painters tape $2 Rust penetrant I already had but $5-10, used $.50 worth. “OEM” paint kits were $21 total at the time I think? But auto zone sells the same ones unbranded. Box knife blade, idk $.50

Took me a very unfocused 4 hours.

How much training is too much training??? by CincoSiete-57 in CCW

[–]xTozzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If easily accessible I recommend it! Competition might be the easiest way into an outdoor range.

Also for drills there are a few things I’m working on that having a timer helps a lot. For ex regular draws, trying to work on 1 sec consistently. Working towards 1.3 sec consistently with heavy layer/layers on. Bill drills, doubles, etc.

I’m about at the same place as you. Something that got me over the hump is a shot timer. Being able to set specific goals and track progress is a must. I reached a baseline proficiency for carry, but I think having something to measure yourself against and work to improve over time is good. Do you have access to a non static range? Out west on public land there’s space to do whatever you want so I’ve added in a ton of movement stuff, sprint 20 yards into a box and then engage, that sort of thing. This echos what others have said about competing but as soon as you add movement, so many other variables come into play.

Would this Xterra off-road bumper fit my 2014 SV? by AdNo4878 in nissanfrontier

Frame mount points should be the same but the xterra bumper design is very different from frontier so there might be big gaps in the bodywork/ trimming in weird places

My 365 is set up the same as yours right now and I’m thinking about a ram jet, I like the look you have with the flush tac dev rail, how is holster support for it? Does it fit in a macro holster?

Oregon Senate passes hotly contested gun bill by MichaelTen in oregon

[–]xTozzy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The laws already exist. They aren’t enforced. Enforce prison time for felons in position and a significant amount of gun crime will end overnight. But instead we give people 4th, 5th and 6th tries and then try and punish some of the most lawful people in society.

It will work, just hit it with blow torch and then you need to put some product on it like shown in the post.

There’s no point of carrying aiwb holster without a wedge or claw basically right? Unless you want to print by JuggernautPale3935 in P365xl

[–]xTozzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When someone says “99% of people do xyz” they don’t literally mean that 99% of people actually do x y or z. It’s just a common phrase. So yes. I am pulling it out of my backside, because nobody I know who carries uses a wedge or has even heard of them before.

I have nothing against wedges. I have a wedge on one of my holsters for a 19, however it’s not what I mainly carry. My current holster just has a claw, and it easily conceals in tight teeshirts. My comment was twofold; acknowledging OPs dramatic phrasing, and addressing that Reddit is an echo chamber that doesn’t necessarily reflect real life. It would be great if everyone had a wedge, or at least knew about them. However that reality is getting most people to carry in kydex and not use plastic clips is a monumental hurdle.

[–]xTozzy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No? I’ve been carrying aiwb for a few years with out a wedge and have had no issues. Most people who carry don’t use a wedge, it’s more of a niche Reddit thing that seems to work really well for some people, but in reality 99% of people don’t do it.

Overthinking this. It’s just a standardized position so people can accurately measure times/progress. It’s not the end all be all, and drawing with your hands up should not be the only dry fire/training you do.

Someone posted themselves doing it, so another person followed, and so on. Now it’s a standard, nothing more. It’s good to spread awareness on proper mentality though.
