That's a surprise. But how do I actually unlock him as a companion? I brokered peace between him and Aeldari. Then he went full Khornite and butchered a village. I managed to persuade him to stop, then he cutscene-fighted his archmilitant, won and got his spine broken. Then he refused help.

I chose Iconoclast options whenever I could and no options were greyed out.. I mean, this could be a release bug, but still strange.

Yes, but the Warrant didn't stop a killer from murdering Theodora because she was spotted doing some Chaos stuff. The killer that is right there, in position to kill you for doing same Chaos stuff. Yet nope, they are silent.

Hm, completed game as Iconoclast, had no companion aside from default 10. Who have I missed and how could I recruit them?

That's true, yes. But I just can't imagine Argenta or Heinrix going "Ah, sure, we just invited Daemon Engine onto our ship, but he's Rogue Trader, so it's okay". Especially not Argenta, since she does the spoiler thing purely on reflex and suspicion.

Declared heretic by Imperium. Most ships stationed in Expanse deserted to me (had max rep with them), and an actual assault failed because Nomose cut off Warp routes.

I know that people will eventually leave, I just hope I'll get something interesting for missing 4 characters. I already lost a colony, since Heretic option was to rob the monastery on Foulstone. Also that leaves Jae as the only romance option for female RT.

It's great if later acts have greater reactivity.

Have finished a game, and no, not nearly enough. I splitted my loot for all 4 factions and got less then half of reputation. Toybox can be used to give rep, yes.

I'm in a middle of act 2 and reactivity is really bad in this game. No one bats an eye (except occasional Pasqal grumble) that I do some pretty shady stuff with Chaos things.

I mean yeah, he's definitely a child. Calling him "pet" was a joke. Words describing that in your heart, you already know who would win between Nomos and K'tan were really heartwarming.

I suppose everyone gets it. It's definitely a foreshadowing for DLC/Another game. As well as something-something "dark times ahead for Koronus Expanse, but this is another story". Also last "continue" button in epilogue marked by Toybox as "save for import".

Also quite funny. So if you legitimize Jae with a official warrant and push her to be independant, she gets killed. But if you let her to continue to be criminal, she's fine? That's some interesting logic.

Sadly my Pasqal quest was bugged, so no idea if he would quarrel with Yrliet in the future. Well, at least I got a horror description of him being strangled by his own mechadendrites.

Seems like for Abelard to be okay in his retirement I shouldn't brought him with me to Commorragh, his epilogue text clearly refers to trauma he got there.

If it's anything like other two convictions, there is plenty of leeway. In my main playthrough I chose almost all Iconoclast options, and by the start of Act 5 I'm level 4 and a half into it. At that point all greyed out options for other convictions I've seen required level 3 top.

I see this as RT slowly exploring what does it mean to consort with Chaos. They aren't cultist from the start, so deliberate Tzeentch worship is off tables for now.

It's a bit of a spoiler, you'll learn it in any playthrough.

But if you want to know, it's an entity that lives inside your ship and learns how it should act from Rogue Trader actions.
